High quality performance requires expert or talented personal who performed consistently at a high level, that make them become confident, and assured, and this is essential for success in life. Your skill level will determine your performance with a given task, your performance cannot be greater than your skill level, therefore to improve your performance you will need to improve your skill level.

It will take determination, and many hours of practice, sacrifice, and whatever else is needed, but almost any skill can be learned or improved upon. That is why the guy at the top can't relax but he keeps improving on his skills and learn new ones because there are a long line of people coming for him.

When you are practicing your skill or skills you are always aiming at a target. When you just started you can't hit the target, so you practice some more you start hitting it 1 out of 10 need more practice 3 out of 10 am tired but 3 out of 10 not good enough, I must keep on working stay focus keeping your mind on the target, maybe you need supporter and supporters to who are cheering and encouraging you to keep going when things get difficult.

Even though you have kills you will need to associate yourself with high performance people who are at the top of their game, if you are hanging out with people who are not performing at a high level it will affect your performance, so you may need to do some stock taking and see if your associates are assets or liabilities.
