What Now?
What now? Now that I have, yet again, entered into another program. Except that this one is not a scam. I have been suckered into too many to mention without completely embarrassing myself. They are good, very good at sucking you into the vortex of more money come easy. Their silken tones and flash pictures and over produced videos. You would think that a college educated man who has gone around the block a few times would be able to resit such foolishness. Foolishness is being nice, I have thought other, not so nice words and in fact, they are unethical and downright thieves, with a smile. Don't shake their hands.
So, this is why, being a retired guy, my first site that I am working on here is called:

I figured a site that would help us old guys (and gals) to understand and get through retirement is a good idea. A site that will help us thrive in retirement would be great. Any of you younger folks are welcome to come along and maybe avoid some of the pitfalls that I fell into (too many).
I am excited about being part of this community and looking forward to a long relationship with my new family.

Yep - we have all been scammed but you know what? That is what has led many of us here, to WA. And while it would have been nice to save some money and not had the scammers make off it, I like to think it helps us appreciate what we have here. My mother always told me, "It's the rain that makes us appreciate the sunshine." And so it is with WA, I think.

We have all been suckered into many of these scams too - nothing embarrassing about it - we all want to better our situations, and scam artists will always be able to snag many of us - and it's really hard to spot until after you've parted with money - they make the shiny object so desirable that just a few extra pounds/dollars CAN'T be too much more to pay for what you'll get in return.
Well, no flash videos of cars, penthouses, island paradises etc here - all of the videos and training I've seen so far, have been straight to the point - centered on one specific topic each time - and showing you step by step how to do what they're advising.
This is a fantastic place - soak up the training, chat, posts and blogs - and in a couple of weeks, you'll look back and realise just how far you've come.
