My real life superman

So there I was only a few meters away from home. It was on the 13th of May at around 3.30pm. I was tired and thinking of the journey that I was going to embark on the following day. I was going to visit my husband who lives over 6hrs away from me.

By the time I got home I was devastated. My phone had been stolen from me. It was the only device in my possession that I used to access anything internet and communication. Only a week before the theft my email had been hacked into.

I was so angry to the point of wishing I could do unmentionable things. For two weeks I drowned myself in my anger, played the blame game and just couldn't snap out of it. Then I decided to put the incident behind me. It wasn't the end of the world. I just had to be strong again. I guess the thought of getting a new phone discouraged me cause of the economic crisis in our country. I thought to myself with prices soaring and everyone now charging in USDs it will be months before I get another phone!!! I began to pray and found a new strength. There was no way I could access WA anymore.

I came to terms with my situation and made peace with it. Little did I know something wonderful was being planned for me. My hubby surprised me two days ago with a better and bigger phone. And here I am back again. Words can never express the joy that man brings to my life. I have found my real life superman!

Debra,

So sorry to hear of your troubles and of the sadness and anguish that have cause you.

It is wonderful that you are praising your husband, although one would assume it is his role to do so, however, too often we only hear the negatives of married people.

Blessings!

Thanks for the warm sentiments. My hubby and I have been together for almost 20 years. We have been through thick and thin together. When I look around me I see many broken marriages and it's a sad situation. We agreed to forgive and be there for each other. I believe that's what a marriage should be like.

Amen, praise be to God!

My wife and I have been married for 33 years and have been together for 37 years.

Unfortunately, they don't make them like that any longer, which is sad, because it is how God has intended it to be a union stronger than the storms we all face from time to time.

Blessings!
