Guess who's back! Sorry for my absence to those who do follow me I have been a very busy fellow the past week or so. I got a new dog (boxer of course) and a new car. The wife also requested that I take some time off for some much needed cleaning.

This one is called Follow the Pack and it is a very simple step for WA members. If you head to your profile page you will see a section under your photo that shows you new members to the community and will allow you to send them a welcome message and give them a quick follow as well.

This may not seem like anything important to you but for a new person this is a critical thing. New people are not likely to jump up and start conversations on the platform so it is our job as members to make this a warm welcoming community.

A good encouraging welcome message gets things moving in the right direction and if a lot of people do this eventually it will come back to new people that join through your links.

Doing this also boosts your member ranking significantly and it is a very quick task to throw into your day.

After you take a few minutes to do that you should also jump over to the activity dashboard. You can get there by using the black button on the left sidebar that says activity dashboard. Then you want to hit the Activity button towards the top to change to the activity tab if you are not there already.

You will now see the community's newest premium members. Take a few minutes to welcome them to the premium side of the community and give them a follow as well. Remember this community is all about learning and building relationships for the greater good!

This last task may take a little longer but it is a powerful one! Spend some time on social media or related blogs to your own niche. Here you just want to find one or two things to comment on.

You want to leave lengthy thoughtful and engaging comments. Build friendships and great conversations about topics in your niche. You will see that your domain authority will start to rise and lead to more traffic. I like to leave comments for blogs that allow me to link back to my site.

If website owners publish your comments and they are relevant Google will love you too!
