Today's tip is step number three on my daily checklist. It is about giving a little back to every community (including this one).

In my eyes in order to become successful you have to help those who you interact with. This is crucial in online marketing. When someone has a question or has a problem, you should strive to help them when you can.

Now we all have things that need attention in life and we can't always come to the rescue with every problem. However, setting aside a few moments each day to help someone with questions can actually help you!

Online outside of Wealthy Affiliate you can benefit from helping others through comments or forums where people are looking for answers to problems they are having.

Example - Tom is having an issue with his car not starting and is looking for help in the forums to solve his problem.

Jack has a business blog and he writes about car problems of the specific brand that Tom is having issues with. Jack sees Tom's problem that he posted online and offers a solution to the problem and a link to his article that he wrote.

Tom thanks Jack and fixes his car. Several other people come to that same site looking for the answer to the same issue Tom had and find the answer from the helpful link that Jack provided. Jack benefits from the traffic on his blog and sees more revenue.

Inside Wealthy Affiliate you can also benefit from helping those in need.

First of all you, if you are helping in the community with problems they do not go unnoticed and your rank in the community will increase where you can get badges for your efforts.

Now you might think well, that isn't making me any money or doing me any good and that is where you are wrong. If you make a daily routine to help people out a little each day and are known for it, the word gets around.

Since I have started a routine of helping out here, I have noticed a big change when I ask a question. When they know you help out and are active in the community and see you with a problem they in turn want to help you out more!

Secondly, with a consistent effort and practice of helping those in need you will see this spill over into areas outside of WA and you will start to see more traffic and more revenue from your blog.

Lastly, if you are helping out here and you are promoting WA, then you should know that all the content here gets indexed with search engines. It's like a huge community blog right?

If you are creating useful content here it is not just for WA members. The entire internet can still read articles posted here as long as you make them non premium content.
