Perseverance and Patience Pays Off .
As a newbie, newbie, I started building my blog last November. Quite a daunting task. Can't tell you how often I hit major roadblocks even after asking tons of questions on WA. Sometimes I didn't get answers at all.
At that point I would go to Youtube. You can learn almost anything there. Spent hours and hours there on searching for answers to particular problems i.e. where to place code. Everyone said place it in the header.
But where in the header? Remember I am a newbie pulling my hair out. Finally one site showed how simple it was. Yet, that was an inconsequential concern for most bloggers since they know already and wouldn't think to explain it. At any rate I found the answer, exhaled and carried on.
At other times I elicited help from Fiverr. You can hire out reasonably inexpensively there on any number of tasks. Designing forms, covers, images, fixing blog problems etc. Sometimes the work is great, other times you're going back and forth until it's right.
Finally instructions on setting up google analytics, and site maps, etc was Greek to me. Also trying to find key words in a highly popular niche was discouraging. Nonetheless I persevered and patiently staid the course.
Now, I am happy to announce that I sold my first book posted on my website created through createspace. I'm a happy camper.
Could be, I'm on my way to success.--it's a start. Kyle said it would take 6 months to a year. So hopefully this will be encouraging to all WA affiliates.
Hang in there, keep posting, persevere and patiently follow your dreams.

congratulations, it shows that you have learnt a lot throughout your journey. When I was a newbie I never thought of going to youtube for help.

Hi Donna,
Glad to hear you've made your first sale - that must be an incredible feeling - well done!
I haven't made any sales yet myself but is encouraging to read about others success. As you say, we need to keep working, keep following the training and we can all succeed!
Thanks for sharing your experiences
Best wishes
John
