About Dmag99

Dave here. Looking to do some online marketing because I want to work from home, and I want my "home" to be mobile! We live in Maine on 150 acres of woods, fields and streams. Lovely place and we love it! What we are tiring of is that Winter, a cold, refreshing time of home and hearth, lasts approximately nine months. Done that - for 28 years or so. Time to consider spending some of that time in, oh, say Costa Rica or Ecuador or Panama...
So, here we go! My interests are, (in no particular order): music, personal development/Law Of Attraction, natural gardening, health and fitness. Those are large niches, I know, so some honing and refinement must commence. Looking forward to the next few months!

Hi Dave!! I hadn't run into you that I recall but I saw you followed me so I had to check you out! Can't be too careful these days, ya know!...so I got my eye on you, you Mainer you!
I'm in NE Indiana and, though not quite as long as you, I understand you want to hit the hot spots! 'Bout fed up myself.
Like your profile and all your interests. Am intrigued with your Natural Gardening. My ground here really sucks so I figured I'd do a couple raised gardens this coming year.
Great to meet with you, Dave and thanks for the follow - George Ward - SpecsShorts

Yea - I do some 'random' following, and it's led to interesting relationships. (When you first get to your page here, there's a list of 'New Members' near the top - ten of them and I just follow and see where it leads...)
Not sure if I'll do a site on gardening - man, that's crowded! - but if your ground sucks, check this out:

Yes, very sandy. Will definatly check out the site. Thanks! If I get really motivated, just me these days, I want to make a compost bin. Have access to plenty of 55 gal barrels and am good enough with my brain and hands to make one. Store boughts are just too expensive.
Thanks for the link, Dave!!
Yeh, I think you would have to really be specific in a gardening niche'...'How to keep your Venus Flytrap Alive'...haha or something. PS - mine always wither and die. Guess they don't like bologna. LOL. Thanks again.

well, this could go on forever - but I just get 4 pallets from the lumber yard, tie them into a square, and dump stuff in. After a year, the lower is glorious! Moving it can suck (I have a tractor), but can be done. After two years, it is superb, and at 3, it is divine!

Hi Dave, I'm following you. Your place sound ideal, bar for the 9 months of Winter. If you are looking for a warm place, try Australia - we'll be having temperatures around 40deg.C (104deg.F) over Christmas. Hey, we resonate on the personal development bit - perhaps you might like to check out my website ;o) Cheers, and best wishes, Mariette

yes, following yo back. I would love to check Australia - an intriguing place... (am looking into costs, among other thing, of options - a big factor is whether the local currency is pegged to the US Dollar. That could be a problem shortly...) Anyway, it sounds like we do indeed tread a similar PD path, and check out your website, I will!

Thanks for following back, Dave. $1AUD is currently around $0.89USD, but changes as you know. It suits Aussies if our dollar is lower for exports, but not for those travelling o/s.
Reply
dmag99 Premium
yes - the issue is the imminent collapse of the world reserve currency, the USD. First time in history that nearly every currency on the planet is fiat, and most of them are valued in USD. When the USD fails, it will have far reaching effects... It's an interesting tale - check out Mike Maloney if curious and/or interested in protecting yourself in that situation, and even profiting handsomely!
Reply

Oh - I scanned your site - great stuff! I will have to spend a little more time in detailed reading...

Thanks for site comment - I still have a way to go - time is always an issue.
Yes, I'm somewhat aware of reserve currency issues. I must say the US had it coming after the GFC debacle which about bankrupted the whole world, and which started way back in the Clinton years, and escalated with the massive greed of the big banks and Greenspan's stupidity - don't get me started - I trade the stock market. Currently, with the manipulation of the gold price, keeping it low, China has been buying all the gold the West is selling. China does not sell any of the gold it mines - they now have huge reserves, and, as I hear, are refusing to extend loans to the US. It will be very interesting! Have not heard of Mike Maloney, but will check him out - thanks!
Reply
dmag99 Premium
US had it coming since 1913 - establishment of the Federal Reserve Bank, which is not federal, has no reserves and isn't a bank! (it's a private corporation) Check out the 7 stages of empire - what did in Athens and Rome, and we (USA) are in the late 6, early 7 stage. Damn near inevitable. Since I am not a financial adviser; I don't have a head full of nonsensical theory but can pull back and see things as they are, and my non-professional advice is: get out of the stock markets! (I bailed in 2005). If you have 401k's or IRAs in Australia (?) cash them out now! People relying on that are going to get slaughtered financially. (It's just a silly game humans play with dirty paper, but it has repercussions...) China imported more gold in 2013 than previously in history - and there is a very good reason for that. Many countries are quietly de-coupling from the USD - using their own currencies, trading in gold, etc. This is not making the news...
cheers!

Wow, very interesting! I know that Australia has been dealing direct with China. I don't know whether talk of the 'Illuminati' is just consipacy theory or not, and whether it is connected with the Federal Reserve (a private corporation, as you say) (owned by Rothchilds?) - but it is scarey. Thanks Dave!
Reply
dmag99 Premium
Yes, a lot of 'direct dealing' going on, circumventing the hold of the USD. Getting interesting indeed! The Rothchilds, Carnegies, JP Morgan, etc were involved and 'conspired' to control all the money in the freaking world - Illuminati? not so sure, but whatever - the plan succeeded in it's aim, (wealth accumulation via bankruptcy of nations), and we are about to see the results.

"I place economy among the first and most important virtues, and public debt as the greatest of dangers. To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt."

Thank you, Dave, that article is an eyeopener - it should be out in the open for all to see. Those you, and the article, mention - The Rothchilds, Carnegies, JP Morgan, etc - are known as the 'Illuninati'. What body is there powerful enough to fight for Justice and the American Way (which is not corrupt)? Amazing that this continues and has existed for so long - absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Of course, if you believe in Karma (as I do), 'As ye sew, so shall ye reap', there will be consequences for the perpetrators. Can't wait.

Dave, this has developed into a private blog - how about you make a public blog of this info - the more who know, the better for all.

Hello Dave -- I've seen you comment a time or two and then you commented about my comment about audio recorder, so FINALLY I come over here to your space here on WA. Very nice profile info -- yes I know what you mean about wanting to get to a better place as far as cold weather (we used to live in St. Louis area for years and you were lucky if you could actually enjoy the outside more than 2 months of the year -- it was either very cold or hot and muggy). You are fortunate to get to focus on internet marketing and not focus on a land or brick and mortar based business as you decide on what to do now at this point in time! Your niches of health, attraction, natural gardening -- well there are a lot of people doing but then so many of them are just hit and miss they do not develop out into really good websites so you may find them still worth going into. If I can help let me know. Hope to get to keep up with you as you progress here!

Hi Dave. I had to come and look you up after you told Damien to check out Mike McGroarty. I've followed Mike McGroarty for years.

I can relate to you wanting to spend at least part of the winter in a warm place. I originally come from Austria, where the winters are also cold, but at least it's often sunny and a snowy landscape in the sun is just beautiful. Here in England it generally doesn't get so cold, but the skies are grey day after day and that can get depressing.

Anyway, I am following you and wish you all the best.

Scott - been busy with the 'real' job... What is the deal with 'following'? I mean, (and I ask this kindly) - what's the point/benefit? It looks like I can just follow everyone in here, so is there some advantage to doing that? Bootcamp begins in earnest this week!
Reply
scottdogg187 Premium
Hey Dave,
The whole idea of following other people is so that you can build up a network of other people who offer value to this community. Also the more people you follow the more help you can recieve from these people and if they follow you back and you write a blog or ask a question they will see it right away and will be able to answer your questions and offer their help. That is the main benefits of following other people.

I'm glad that you are going to be starting Bootcamp this week and I know that you are going to love it. Let me know if you have anymore questions and I would love to answer them for you.

Yea that was the same thing that I said after I got done reading that tutorial. When you think about it the potential really is unlimited and everyone could benefit from what WA has to offer. There are over 2 billion people online searching for ways to make money online.

If you can reach out to just a small fraction of them people and help them out you will have a very successful and profitable business. I'm glad you are having fun with the boot camp and enjoying yourself. If you come across any questions be sure to let me know and I will answer them for you.

I do have a question! well, a couple, actually...

Perhaps there are lessons on using the blog editor? I find it weird, and it didn't save my last draft (maybe me, but I thought it said it had...).

In the typing area, there are dots down the left side. Can't enter text there? And when i get text in, it's a bugger to edit. Can i use Word or something to create, and then paste? (probably).

Also - what are tags? I thought about that this afternoon - maybe just words to describe what the post is about?

Thanks!
Dave
Reply
scottdogg187 Premium
Yes you can write your blogs in Word or anything else that you like and paste them into the wordpress editor. Im not sure what you mean by dots down the left side as I have never encountered an issue like that before. Tags are something like keywords and you can enter these into the tags section of your wordpress editor where it says tags. Think of them like extra keywords that you could possibly use to get ranked for and gain extra traffic from.

I wouldn't go overboard with them tho I suggest no more then 5 or 6 tags per post. I hope this has helped answer your questions and I am going to look into the dots on the left side of the editor and see if I can find out why you are having this problem.

I will let you know what I find out. If you have anymore questions or encounter any more problems let me know man.

Scott - i can think of some niches, yet I am not sure. So I think i might just take the "given" niche of promoting WA, go through the entire process, and then know what I might do with other niches. Sound reasonable? The Question: should i therefore bail on the training and go to the boot camp?
Reply
scottdogg187 Premium
Hey Dave,
This is totally up to you man about which direction you want to go. I am currently doing the boot camp now and I am having a really great time with it and making some good money. If you can't think of any niches right now, then you are more then welcome to start out with the Boot camp and later on down the road you could start up another niche.

I wouldn't recommend trying to have 2 or 3 websites at once just starting out because I did the same thing and I got nowhere. After you are doing this for a while and get some experience under your belt you could branch out then. For now I would advise you to pick 1 niche and focus on that. You will get a lot more accomplished and make more progress this way.

I hope this has helped you make a decision on what you want to do and If you have anymore questions I would love to answer them for you and help you out.

Thanks, Scott. Yes, i get that too many sites will drive one mad! I am talking about doing a WA sote to learn the process. Given all is well, I might add site 2. That's the thing i must resolve - will site 2 be music related, or personal development, or gardening? Again - if I promote WA, i will learn the process of marketing and promoting online. At that point, i can know if i have time and energy to develop other niches/sites. We learn... onward!

I think that is a great Idea Dave!

You can definitely use the Boot camp to learn how to market things online and use that for other niches. If you can get the basic idea of how Internet marketing works through the Boot camp then all you gotta do is rinse and repeat as they say.
