"It takes money to make money" - What you should ACTUALLY pay for!

If you are at all familiar with the Internet Business world, at one time or another, you may have heard the phrase "it takes money to make money." I would say, to some extent, this statement has some truth to it. Let me explain...

They often say that "knowledge is power" and, in some cases, the acquisition of that knowledge comes at a price. After all, you usually have to pay a substantial amount of money in order to get a college education. With that said, if you are willing to share that knowledge with others, you may want to seek some kind of compensation. In the real world, this comes in the form of a job. Your employer compensates you accordingly based off of your skills, knowledge, experience, etc. In the Internet Business world, this usually comes in the form of some kind of payment which will grant you "access" to more information. Sounds pretty fair, right?

Now don't get me wrong, there are many websites out there that charge rather ridiculous sums of money for obtaining more information. Personally, unless you know EXACTLY what you are getting, stay away from these sites. 9 times out of 10, the reason they charge such large sums of money is because once they have your money, they run!

On the other hand, beware of the sites offering "instant access" or "free information." This is usually meant to lure your in, then in order to continue your membership or to get more information, you have to shell out all kinds of money.

My advice is look for websites that offer a combination of both. WA, for instance, is a perfect example. You can get started for free and maintain your free membership for as long as you wish. If you do, however, want to gain access to more information, you can upgrade your membership for a monthly fee. Best of all, you know EXACTLY what you are getting for that money so you know it will be money well spent.

So, going back to the initial phrase "it takes money to make money" - I would say it most certainly does. Just make sure, however, you know where that money is going and that it is money well spent.
