Here an AMP, there an AMP, everywhere AMP squared.?

How AMP'd are you?

Not sure if I am just behind the times but I have just found out about Googles newest brain child, AMP Email. For you that are where I was about 30 minutes ago, let me quickly enlighten you. So when you are sifting through your arces of email and you know we all do this, we click on a link that takes us out of our email into a new browser to distract us more from the task at hand and especially if it's a social media platform email like crackbook, we end up surfing for an hour and totally forget what our original task was in the first place.

So just like how AMP Mobile stores a set of files in reserve to help load the desired page more quickly, AMP Email will sort of do the same thing and allow you to interact with crackbook right inside your email browser rather than opening a direct browser into the app or if my non-techy vocab confused you, you will be able to use crackbook from right inside your email. So why do we exactly need this? What is the direct benefit from this...? ...? No I am actually asking you this as I can not see a benefit to this. All I can come up with is this.

Facebook still ranks #1 with 1.9 billion users as the most used social platform. Even Facebooks WhatsApp held the #2 spot till as of recent where Googles own (starting to see the connection here?) YouTube took the #2 spot. Even though YouTube still has a great distance to close, the sudden push to the visual video marketing trend blowing up and YouTube actually replacing television for many people and the onslaught of webinar for everything nowadays, even Facebook has tried their hand at it with Facebook Live but nothing is slowing down YouTube. So, with the more than expected response of the Accelerated Mobile Page Project, I think this is just a marketing ploy to keep Facebook busy and keep them unaware to what Google has in store for the Future.

If you are lucky enough to be one of the lucky people to have YouTubes AI Mobile real time Beta project. This allows the user to essentially have their own green screen with set templates so you can make videos of you on the moon or in front of the pyramids and so on. I have also read of a few other projects soon to be released that will make you say OMGWTF?!? Pretty soon we will have stun gun tazers that shoot out our smartphones just like Captain Kirk had so we can all nab our own green alien woman...ok, maybe not green.

So what is your take on this AMP Email, do we need it? If so, why? Will it affect any of the social platforms? Will it make the dreaded task of cleaing out you inbox an easier task? Whatever the case may be, Google is certainly becoming a super titan in the world period. I just can't wait for their marshmellow cereal! I also wanted to just try out this new blogging format that WA has just released. I must say, I really REALLY love the title image idea! The world is always better with more color. Keep on affiliating my fellow affiliators!
