Making your post show up in Menu
I'm sure like most of the new members of WA, we have come across the organization problem with our site. I just spent all day trying to figure out why I could not categorize my posts into the menu categories that I set up during the initial training. I read through all of the posts, (make it static, go to reading, etc.) and none of them seemed to work. I wanted to make a post, but also have it able to be found in the menu section at the top of my page.
I found out why, and it's quite simple. Instead of having your menu of pages, you need to create a menu of categories. When you create a menu, you need to add the categories you want at the top, and when writing your blog you need to select the category that is applicable.
This way it will now show up on the top of your page, as well as the category in the search bar that you have created. Hope this help.
