What an exciting adventure! To think that this is only the beginning! Hello Wealthy Affiliate I hope you are enjoying the holiday season. I recently joined the community here at WA and I would say it has been a great experience thus far

Why I Joined WA

I joined WA for similar reasons to most, I want to have more time for the things I truly enjoy. And unfortunately I am in a position where I have to exchange my time for money. Most people are in this same position. I have been looking for a way to change this for some time now. I have tried several different avenues of alternative income, and I'd have to say that WA is definitely at the top of my list already.

Going Premium

I was determined to finish the first training course within the 7 day trial period so that I can get a good feel of the WA site and community. I kept to this goal and at the end of the course it was no longer a question, going premium was simply the next step in furthering my mission. The community here has really made all the difference, I feel like I have so much support and access to a wealth of knowledge that will make this journey very enjoyable.

Getting Indexed by Google

After deciding on a niche close to my passion (music) I began creating my site. The site was originally a siterubix.com site but after going premium I bought the domain wemakingbeats.com and transferred the account. I continued to add content and also spent a lot of time learning how to work and adjust themes and images. I would say this would normally be something I stray away from doing, but with all the help I was able to find online I have gotten my site to a level that I am happy with! It was a great feeling of accomplishment when I received the email saying my site had been indexed by Google! It was only seven days after buying the domain.

Conclusion/Whats Next!

I know I have A LOT of work to do but I look forward to it! And I think that is the biggest accomplishment of all. I go to work and I cant wait to get off so that I can tinker with my site. I have already started coming up with ideas for a second niche! I have since added affiliate partners, and I will be committed to adding content to my site every weekend (hopefully more often than that). I wish you much success in your online goals also!
