I have several motivational methods.
For writing I use music - I like to write while listening to classic rock, it seems to wake up my brain to ideas and creativity.
For excersise - I motivate myself through auto-suggestion keeping in mind that I am actually motivating my subconscious mind to desire to exercise every day.
Hope this is what you are after.

I also share similar methods as you do! For example, I listen to music when I draw. I am an absolute fanboy for Bryan Adams, the Chicago, the Beatles, Frank Sinatra and (OMG) "do you feel like we do" by Peter Frampton. I can listen to that song over and over and it also helps that it's such a long song that you achieve quite a lot while listening to it.
I am really just stoked to find about the community and meet new people. I learned the law of 33% and I'd love for you guys to be part of it. Thanks for sharing San! :)
