What Have You Done For Others Today?
How did you spend your day today?
Did you do your normal day-to-day routine and just go with the flow of every mundane thing that you are used to doing?
Have you been a little extra kinder today and a little more caring?
Have you been a gift for others today?
When you pass a stranger on the street on foot or in your car or are standing next to them in line at the grocery store, did you smile, or did you greet them that brings out a smile on their faces?
Did you accompany an elderly person crossing the street or even take a load of heavy bags off of their hands and arms and take them across the street?
Did you compliment them or provide a listening ear, give them a warm hug, or offer support to help them improve something?
Did you help them in some way -- to load something heavy into the trunk of their car, perhaps, or let them go in front of you in line at the grocery store because they had fewer items than you?
It takes a conscientious person to be able to sense a need from others and answer that need
The kind of person who lives in this generous and selfless way tends to be living a joyful and deeply fulfilling life themselves, which inspires them to want to share that wealth more and more with everyone they meet, and so they do.
You can be that kind, compassionate and caring human being.
You can remain in your present idea about yourself, or you can choose again. Maybe, you'll like the idea of choosing again.
Be grateful for who you are today, do not condemn who you were yesterday, and dream of who you can be tomorrow and in so doing so you will awaken the long-awaited desire that is buried within you for a long time.
After all, we are here to be a gift for others and others to be a gift for us.
Thank you all so much for your precious time reading this post.
God be with you all always in all ways.
In light, love, and peace,
Elizabeth

This blog has a special meaning for me. I'm not sure how it happened but as far back as I can remember I have drawn to people in need. I love to help people with a problem and I was lucky enough to work in jobs allowed me to do this. I don't know how many flat tires I have changed or stranded moteredts I have given a ride to where they could get help. I am not bragging because nothing I do is aa big deal, the small rewards I get are a smile or a hand shake. There is nothing better than the look on an elderly lady face when you lift that 30 pound bag of dogfood and put it in her shopping cart. What I am trying to say is that this blog is 100% right on. I know my life is better for just reaching out to someone in need.
Oh, I know you are not bragging
and I do know that you have a
real kind heart in the first place
otherwise, you would not be doing
those things.
Don't you feel good as well, knowing
you had helped them even in little ways?
Sure you do and that's the power of
caring.
Thamk you so much, Chuck.
Sending you more blessings.

Elizabeth, thanks for sharing a great reminder for showing kindness. Many people are hurting and hiding.
Many are afraid to ask for help, because it will make them vulnerable or weak.
But if we can just for goodness sake, be sensitive and show a little kindness, in whatever sensible way we can, I believe that weβre going to be solving some unimaginable problems. So, Let us make our little light to shine!
Oh, that is so beautiful, Sara
and you are so right.
I could not have said it better.
We all need to be aware of what
is going on around us and just
have a willing heart to extend
whatever we can do to help others.
Thank you ever so much, Sara.
Blessings to you more.
