Meditation - Capacity to Know the Higher Power
Hello, my dear WA Family, good morning, good afternoon, good evening, or good night from wherever part of this wonderful world you came from.
Here is another one of my daily short meditations by Anne Wilson Schaef, Ph.D.
Thank you so much, and the topic is
Capacity to Know the Higher Power
"Nature has created us with the capacity to know God, to experience God." - Alice Walker -
We often think that we have to work to know God and that we have to have experts to teach us how to know our Higher Power.
What a wonderful surprise it is suddenly to discover that the capacity to know God and be connected with our Higher Power dwells within us and to discover that instead of working at this connection, we have only to admit that it is already there.
We may have lost our awareness of our relationship with our Higher Power and the connection has never stopped. It is only that our awareness of it has dimmed and become obscure.
" I HAVE all I need within me to know and experience my Higher Power. All I have to do is step out of my way."

Great Post. It is true that we often get in the way of our knowing God. If you look at the faith of the little ones and how they accept God without reservation, then that would be the goal from such a true example of what faith is supposed to look like.
