How is Your Attitude Today?

Attitude. What is it?

An attitude is a way of thinking that you can express just by standing a certain way.

It's a choice each of us makes to look at life in certain ways, thus determines the atmosphere of our environment and the way we interact with each other and other people.
Some people you met and would still meet while you are alive were or are either those you can call pessimists or optimists.

The pessimists claim they were born and grew up with an inappropriate disposition. There is always something wrong with everything. Nothing works for them. Everything is a failure.

While others are a joy to be with as they are just awesomely happy, exciting, and full of hopes.

Perhaps you and your siblings were surrounded with an abundance of gratitude being expressed as a way of life while other children seem to be on a different path altogether.

Some have a sore and gloomy disposition while others can be amazingly cheerful, grateful, and kind.

We don't inherit attitudes of gratitude from anyone. Not even from our parents. We demonstrate gratitude when we choose to do so.

You can only display that type of attitude if you have it in you, otherwise no matter how blessed you are and how fortunate you are, if you didn't see your life emerging towards those abundances, you will never appreciate any of it.

You can choose to either be thankful and look with wonder for the best and the blessings of what you have or you can moan and groan and complain until the sun sets down on you.

The choice is still yours.

You can make a choice to criticize, condemn, ignore and take for granted what you have or experience or you can jump with excitement and give thanks for another beautiful and wonderful day of your life.

Gratitude unexpressed and never fully experienced by you or others is wasted especially if it was kept from everyone. A sense of gratitude is contagious and it magnifies the bright attitude of others.

From being a child we were taught to say thank you. It is so important to teach the same way to your children so they will develop that attitude of gratefulness as they grew up and also give thanks for all that they are, for all that they do, and for all that they have.

Again and again, you see in my writings about giving thanks always whether small or big accomplishments. You can never ever give thanks enough.

And so thank you ever so much, my WA Family for your precious time reading my blog post.

What are you thankful for? Take a few moments, meditate on them and write your answers.

Could it be there is some gratitude that needs expression in a phone call, email, or in any other messaging medium?

What about a personal thank you to those who care about you and you tend to neglect and avoiding contact with?

When was the last time you said thank you to your Mom and Dad? to your other siblings? to the other people who helped you up while you are growing up?

When did you ever express gratitude to the people here in WA, Kyle, Carson, and Jay, your support team, the admin, and others who had and still have been there for you in your journey here in WA?

What about giving thanks to your other family members, relatives, friends, neighbors, and others in your cycle?

What are your children or your spouse or partner thankful for?

I wonder what will happen when you look at your child or your spouse or partner and say, "I'm thankful for you!"

Ask each family member today what he or she is thankful for. Never take one another for granted, but let everyone know your heartfelt thanks.

If it's difficult to see what you can be thankful for, begin to look with your new eyes - with the One perspective. Ask to illumine the eyes of your heart and let you see clearly.

God blesses all of you!

I love you all dearly and I am so grateful to God for all of you for being a golden part of my amazing journey here in WA.

Hi My Sweet Sis, that somehow I'm still your Auntie too. Funny.

I read your post, while stuffing face with some Boulder Canyon potato chips. Wished they had more salt, must be some new thing to put sugar on your potatoes.
I started thinking about how we say thanks to Father for food.

I am thankful a clove of garlic isn't 40 pounds, and or a mango isn't as big as a cow, so you don't need to put a rope on it, and drag it back up into a tree with a truck to prepare it for eating.
Everything is perfectly made, perfectly sized,
By a perfect Creator, koinonio, full sharing, and Wise.

Deuteronomy, you can actually eat the food and then say
thank you, and may be more grateful and express your grate full tummy ness, after eating.

Let us see what an universal encyclopedia says.
“The word grace, which, as applied to prayer over food, always in pre-Elizabethan English took the plural form graces, means nothing but thanksgiving. (Cf. the Latin gratiarum actio and the Italian grazie, ‘thanks.’)”
:>) :>) :>) !!
While the word “grace” is most often tied to the definition of “unmerited divine assistance given to humans,” it is historically connected to “giving thanks” to God before or after a meal. In a certain sense, this is not surprising as the food we eat is often given to us through no effort of our own. Food is a great gift that sustains us and keeps us alive and God is the ultimate creator of it all, providing everything that we eat.

Our food can be seen as a “grace,” and so it is fitting that we call giving thanks to God for it “saying grace.”

Yes, it was before Elizabeth , and Suzay. PreElizabeth, and PreSuzay, it was Divinely given as we need it to survive, and is a Divine favor, as it is freely given through no effort of our own, no strings attached.

One Island girl to another, I LOVE you!

My Auntie,

You sound like my Mom

She used to say those things and
of course, we all listened and really
followed her and her actions.

My Dad would be right beside her
in all of these and that is why to this
day i still remember all their precious
teachings and counseling.

Every time something good came she
would always say, that's grace from
God even a tiny little of something.

Oh, just missing them so much.

Thank you so much, Auntie or maybe,
Mom. :-)

Love you dearly.

Yes, I understand you, and your sweet Mom and Dad standing in truth by her side! What a lovely picture to remember them by!
We were both made before the foundation of the world, in our Loving Father's foreknowledge, and it is not by chance that we met at WA. Our Loving Father does not take chances with His children who keep themselves within His covenant promises.

1

Yes, Auntie, I do know that
there's no coincidence in
this world and we have to
meet right here, in this
opportunity and this time
with no more barriers in front
of us.

Yes, how I wished they were
here and they would have
loved to meet you and be
with you.

And no, we are all beloved
children of our Loving Father
and those who are willing to
go all our for His Sake will
do just that and if not they
will go on another plain of
this universe.

Ah, the wonder of our Great
Creator. If only everyone knew...

I don't know if you will agree that people with issues in their
attitude are unlovable or difficult to love. But believe it or not they are the kind of people that should be shown our love and compassion. Why? Often times they are the ones who have not felt the love of their family or friends. They have not experienced that they are loved. If only we could be patient and loving and giving more attention to these people., it's only then that their attitude will change.

3

Hello Praxides,

I completely agree with you
and you know there is always
a saying about hurt people
hurt people.

And so they definitely and more
fully need our love and attention.

We can always show kindness
and compassion even just a
little of it and it would have made
a huge difference in their lives.

Thank you so much, Praxides.

Much love.

Hello Isabelo,

Thank you so much and isn't it
interesting that most of the time
our patience is being tested when
we deal with some that are so, so
difficult to handle sometimes?

But that is easy when you know
how to do that.

Thank you so much, Isabelo.

Have a blessed night and do
sleep well.

:-)

Amidst everything, I try to have a positive attitude.
This encourages my brain to follow suit
We all should always find a way to be positive, even though life is not always so.
A positive attitude encourages a positive environment and like-minded people
