Developing new skills, one day at a time.
Many times in the past have I started a blog... In fact, I have so many stared but never finished pages on blogspot that I can't even remember them all...
Thing is, I knew kinda what I wanted to do with those blogs but lacked direction and understanding. And I still do, one might notice.
However, one thing has changed. My page that I stared with WA's help and hosting has 7 posts up, is indexed in google (albeit buried on pages 4,5,6 etc)... And more to come soon.
The difference is that now I understand what direction to take, and most of all, I have a whole community of bloggers/marketers here that help me stay on track with the original goal of the blog - which isn't just to help myself by getting my thoughts out there, but also to realize that there are people out there that might have exactly the same problem I do that might be joining me in the future on my blog.
This vision keeps me posting, and gives me perspective as to how to write from the heart to not only speak my mind but also to aim to connect to prospective readers... Because sooner or later, with the methods taught here, there will be. In fact, just with the people within the community there have already been genuinely interested readers, which is great.
The community here reminds me again and again that you do not start out being a master at anything, but work your way up into mastery through cumulative work. Every day a little bit more, and a little bit better.
I am one month into being in this community, and one month into being free of my marijuana addiction - and that is no coincidence. This community encourages me and the education here helps me keep going when I get stuck. In fact, getting stuck was always the issue before - and now if I'm stuck for too long, I'm bound to hear from one or two people via PM who try and help me get unstuck.
On top of that, the live chat-room here is a GREAT place to visit when stuck, because there is always someone there willing to toss around ideas and give me a swift kick in the behind when I need it.
Though I am still very much at my starting stages, I know far more now about what makes a good blog and what gets the blog seen on google for free than I did a month ago or EVER.
I tried some Udemy courses in the past, spent a little money on that, the level of the education here as far as I can see far surpasses the Udemy courses, and it's mainly because of the community structure that is built into this wonderful Virtual University.
Thank you all for making WA what it is! And thank you Kyle and Carson, and Jay, for all that you do here and for the structure that you guys have created.

The community here really is great. I can get something off my chest before I go to bed, and wake up to dozens of comments and responses, and it really is assuring knowing that there are people here willing to spend their time to help you with whatever it is that you may need.
Most definitely worth the membership fees!
