Is Anyone Making Money From Google Adsense?
Hi WA family,
I just applied for a Google Adsense account and was wondering if anyone made money from it and whether it was worth it.
I read some negative blogs and wondered if I was doing the right thing. I need some income from my site, will this give me a nice steady stream?

Adsense only pays cents but it IS set and forget, thus passive income. You only need one Adsense ad in a text widget and the viewer sees different ads on different posts and they relate to things that they have shown interest in. I keep seeing Adsense ads showing the last thing I looked at on eBay (creeeepy). I only get a few dollars from Adsense but I don't have to do anything to keep earning. ~Marion
Not really. Adsense has a maximum of 3 ads per page/post and I've only ever had 2 ads showing. I think it's better to have other ads as well as Adsense so you get more money without looking spammy. Too many ads looks bad to your visitors.
I haven't made much but it's better than nothing and all I do is leave the add there so I don't see what you have to loose!
I make a few dollars per month. You need thousands of daily visitors to make a decent amount of money with it.
wow i didn't think it would be in the thousands to make a decent amount. I just started my site so not many visitors at all.

Yes I've made money from Google Adsense. I was shocked that I made anything. The first month was a penny and this month is currently 56 cents and going. However I believe over time as there is more traffic attracted to my site the more money I will be able to make from ads. It's worth it, I find no reason to block possible revenue. Multiple streams are better than a singular stream :)
