What is Affiliate Marketing? (Where Has Fluffy Gone?)
🚀Hey there, fellow entrepreneurs! As we start delving deeper into the enigmatic realm of affiliate marketing, we find ourselves being ensnared in a web of complexity, 🌟a rich tapestry of strategies and methodologies ever-evolving in response to the capricious whims of the digital economy💪. Yet within this maelstrom, lies the promise of untold riches👌, a treasure trove awaiting those bold enough to seize the mantle of the affiliate marketer and venture forth into the unknown...💖
So, what on earth is happening here? Why am I writing in this style?
After all, you know it's not the real me; I don't write or speak like this.
Yes, you guessed it, this is FluffyAI at it's very worst!
As you know, I offer a lot of feedback on your websites, and I am seeing examples of this style of writing over and over again.
Yes, Google has "hinted" that AI content is acceptable, but it is still looking for REAL people behind it, talking in their own voice, demonstrating their REAL knowledge and experience.
I have seen numerous posts that have several dead giveaways that the content is entirely AI generated before I even start reading it in full.
Anything that starts with "hey there, fellow gardeners/entrepreneurs/dog lovers/ fellow sports fans" or worse still, "ahoy there!"
Any content that is full of emojis especially rockets, stars, thumbs up, etc.
Double asterisks around the **subheadings.
Long introductory paragraphs that say nothing at all, just a lot of rambling, pretentious nonsense, with no factual information.
A lot of words ending in "ing" - mastering, evolving, creating, unlocking, affording, empowering, enchanting, etc.
When looking back through your own content, after you have finished your post, try reading it out loud.
Does it sound like you, would your friends stare at you in disbelief if you spoke like that, are you stumbling over unfamiliar words?
How can you show Google that you are an expert in your niche, that you live and breathe it, that you deserve your voice to be on page 1, when you don't even have a voice of your own?
As much as I love AI and use it for numerous tasks every day to speed up my productivity, it is pretty obvious that people are using it incorrectly.
Website content is becoming repetitive, even here on your websites.
And don't even get me started on the endless AI generated WA blog posts!
I have only one thing left to say...
Thus, let us bid adieu to this humble endeavor, with hearts💕 aglow with the embers of understanding, and minds ablaze with the fervor of perpetual inquiry. The tapestry of guidance🚀 we have woven together is a testament to the boundless potential that resides within the confluence of thought, action, and aspiration. May your journey through the verdant fields😍 of knowledge be forever graced with the blooms of insight, and may the stars of wisdom light your path through the boundless expanse of the enigmatic unknown...👍

Thanks Diane for writing this post. I think we need to be told the truth and you are right. I can also tell when I read someone’s website whether it's the AI speaking or the human 🙂🙂.
I use AI a lot but I try my very best to just take the information and reword it as naturally as possible. I also don't like the repetitiveness. Way too obvious!
Thank you, Diane (Fluffy!)
I am saying goodbye to INVASIVE AI, as I love it for the ideas it gives me, but I am not too fond of it for the following:
Farewell, dear companions, as we part ways on this path of shared enlightenment. May our spirits remain illuminated by the flames of comprehension, and may our intellects continue to be ignited by the unyielding pursuit of knowledge. The intricate web of wisdom we have collectively crafted serves as a testament to the infinite possibilities nestled within the amalgamation of contemplation, engagement, and ambition. May your odyssey across the lush meadows of wisdom forever be adorned with the blossoms of understanding, and may the constellations of sagacity serve as beacons, guiding you through the vast realms of the enigmatic and unexplored.
If I spoke like this, what planet would I be from?
Corinne
As you have suggested, it seems that the term 'artificial' intelligence is the shoe that fits...I am guessing that I, personally, intuitively sort of initially recoiled at the idea of AI and you have put to words what, perhaps, my intuition told me. I suspect the same sort of 'close but no cigar' characterization would, for the same reasons, apply to the so-called 'smart' cities the illuminati have planned for us all. As you have cleverly illustrated, there is no substitute whatsoever, nor can there be, for the human spirit, ingenuity, creativity and so much else that makes us who we are. I know nothing about AI and I suppose I'll be dragged, kicking and screaming, into educating myself on the mechanics of it's employment at some point. I suppose some tasks could be assigned to AI to make the completion of those tasks more efficient as you have pointed out. But, apart from use-cases that would be ultimately be circumscribed in scope, any suggestion that AI could be substituted for anything that makes us human amounts to arrogance, presumption and delusion...
Hello Diane,
I am so glad you wrote this post. I have also noticed the new and flowery language that is being adopted.
I hate it and it really is drivel.
Some posts scream AI and I lose interest.
I have asked myself, if I can see the AI driven posts with my untrained eye, wouldn't Google see it long before I do?
I sure hope so and I hope this blatant plagerism is discouraged.
As writers, don't we all want to be known for original content? Of course we do - this is our opportunity to use our voice.
I am no longer worried about AI. In my head, it is in perspective. This is a good thing because in the beginning I thought AI would take over and I would never be able to keep up.
It's useful though. AI presents me with lots of good ideas and some better and more appropriate words. But I only need to use my own style.
Thanks for another great post Diane.
Well said and to the point.
Regards, Corinne

Of course i'm speculating here but my impression is that Google, as part of their quest to provide users with an increasingly improving experience on their platform, is trying to determine what has been generated by a living, breathing human being and what has been generated by AI. The irony in all of this, of course, is that they are trying to elevate content that is generated by a human being apart from what has been generated by AI...and using AI in making, or at least assisting in, that determination....
