Brainstorming a Domain Name

So, recently I have been helping a couple of people in brainstorming ideas for a new domain name, which was great fun!

I suggest you start by reading one of my previous posts, which gives you some idea of what not to do!

Now, you might think it's impossible to come up with a good, catchy, 2-word .com domain name.

Not true; you just have to be more creative.

Obviously, you will probably want the name to include your chosen niche.

So, try adding an unusual, unrelated word to it.

Here's an example using aromatherapy.

The unrelated word is sunburst.

And so, we have sunburstaromatherapy.com, which is available at $14.99; sounds catchy and quite pretty; it's brandable.

You can try this with other niches using the same word; here are some available domains.

sunburstbaking.com (cooking niche)

sunburstcreatures.com (pets niche)

sunburstbody.com (fitness niche)

sunburstdream.com (meditation niche)

sunburstevening.com (no idea what niche, I just like it!)

Let's try again with another random word - rainbow.

rainbowbaking.com (cooking niche)

rainbowcurves.com (fitness/fashion niche)

rainbowopinion.com (Anything really!)

rainbowevening.com (yoga/meditation niche)
