So, here is a relatively new feature in Canva to get creative with your text.

Maybe use it for your images, Pinterest pins, or social media posts to stand out from the crowd.

Sorry, I assume that this is only available in the Pro version of Canva!

Let's see what we can do.

Open up your project, and on the left, go to Apps and find TypeGradient.

Click on the icon, and click Open.

Enter your text, choose your font, and select your alignment and line height.

Now the fun begins!

In the Gradient box, it has a preset color, but you can change this, start by clicking on the first circle.

Slide the circle to find your first preferred color, or enter the Hex number if you have a specific brand color that you always use.

Do the same with the other two circles, until you have your three desired colors.

Now you can see your design, as it looks so far.

You can now play with it further, by clicking on either of the two circles, to change the gradient.

When you are happy with the result, just click Add to Design.

Hope you enjoyed this, have fun!

Canva has some great stuff and I only use a fraction of it Diane. My problem with Canva is that I stay in my comfort zone!
I've tried their tutorials but I've found them a tad wearying!

Canva is the best! ❤️

Some awesome info, Diane! Thank you!

I love Canva! This looks fantastic.
Quick couple of question, can the text be rotated on axis? For like on a partially turned laptop image to display the text.
If so, will it adjust for perspective or would that be a manual adjustment?
I've been trying to figure out how to do this and was hoping that this new feature might be capable.
Thank you for sharing so generously!!

Hi - you can rotate the text within the image, by clicking on the circle underneath it.

But I don't know of any way you could allow it to rotate as you turned a screen if that's what you mean.

I was thinking more along the lines of placing the text on an image of a laptop or monitor that may be angled toward someone sitting in front of it.
I'm fiddling with it now to try and explain better what I mean.
I did come up with something quick as a trial run for a Facebook post.
