So, first off, I'm not going to lie that I got lazy recently by not continuing with my work. So this should be the first step in resolving that. But moving on to something I'm always passionate about, entertainment.

I think at this time in history we're facing unprrecidented levels of stress and uncertainty. I can't speak for anyone's experiences during this pandemic other than my own, but I can imagine a lot of you have dealt with the stressors of this. Whether your loved ones have suffered with the virus, you've lost your job, or you may potentially lose your home.

I can't say that escapism is the fix all solution to all problems, in fact in many cases we should be tackling our problems head on. But for anyone who has the time or ability to enjoy themselves, finding something to espace into and make you smile can go a long way. There's a reason the move industry didn't suffer as bad during the Great Depression, and that's because we all need some fictional world to watch from the outside to distract us from the one we're living in.

So I would encourage everyone to find those worlds you love to watch. And if anyone is looking for some great content to experience, I'm sharing my personal favorite film of the year 1983 as part of my Best Films Per Year series on my site.
