It's Monday morning and I have my to do list made out. The greatest thing about being unemployed is the freedom. I can sleep until I awaken, stay up all night working, wear whatever I want all day. And that freedom will continue as I get my business up and running. I got some boxes yesterday, looked at rental moving trucks, and started a count down list. All in all, I am excited about making a move.
I spoke with a friend last night, called her to say goodbye. She's known me since graduate school and we have always had similar interests. She was shocked to hear about my job loss but she also said that she's always known that I enjoy a challenge and new situations and that I have no fear of change. Those were encouraging words. Sometimes we don't see ourselves as others see us. And it was good to hear what she said because I realize it is true. I *do* enjoy a challenge and I certainly set up a big one for myself, didn't I? :-)
I hope everyone is doing well and making progress. I'm still in the learning phase and haven't yet gotten my web site up and running. I'm having to budget my time now and work toward the move during the day and work a few hours at night. Lately I've been getting so involved in the keyword research and some article writing that suddenly I've worked all night and it's morning and I must get some sleep. I am a natural night owl and that would be fine if I didn't have a grandchild in school. She is also a night owl and has a natural tendency to stay up all night. I think we just don't want to miss anything. ;-)
