Congrats! I signed up to Textbroker a while back, as a client though. I'm in the process of creating a *play* site to test and learn about options such as AdWords that I've yet to gain any experience with and I wanted to check out various authoring outsourcing services. From a customer's point-of-view, I'd definitely recommend that you put as much info. in your profile as possible, CV, real-world experience, hobbies, etc. as well as samples of your writing. I'd check the Keyword Tool here or Jaaxy for the highest potential search terms, ie. the most searched as opposed to the likeliest to rank. I searched for authors on Textbroker and *interviewed* them by messaging those who had listed they had experience or an interest in my niche, and now place regular Direct Orders with them. Rich. x
That is a great idea, Rich. I write there, sometimes. I have not thought about using the Keyword Tool to optimize my profile.

Thanks, Rich. Those are good suggestions.
No probs. I know from the client side my criticisms would be that the sign-up procedure and site aren't exactly user friendly, and finding the authors with relevant experience takes some work, especially as their "categories" are limited. If you have any interest in say "photography" it pays off if clients can find you by searching under that term, as there's no category for it or many, many others. Rich. x
