Hello D, I've done that for you.
I like the post, it's to the point, no fluff and gives the reader some quick little tips on how to get their home in good shape before a shoot.
I think the site looks very nice and the photos you have are stunning and show what you can do for prospective customers in an excellent light. Well done there, I doubt anybody would be disappointed if they instructed you as their real estate photographer!
Just a couple of things I've not included in the comment:
1) The link to your site in the "Contact Us" section of the blog post opens into a new tab/window when it just needs to link back to your home page within the site. Web crawlers like these "internal" links for SEO purposes.
2) Your home page appears to be the same as your about us page with your domain name opening to whichever one it is. Maybe create some new content for your home page, have your domain pointing to that with your about us page as a domain extension ie ........
http://dbrealestatephotography.com/about-us
.......that way you can separate them and have even more content for Google etc to index.
3) On your about us page, I'd have a look at your second paragraph and see if you can break it up into smaller bite size ones, at the moment it seems like it all needs to be read in one breath.
4) I also think your about us page could do with little personalisation, you have a lovely photo of you and your partner(?) but we know nothing about you!! Tell us who you both are, your experience, why you got into the business and why you are working together etc....it makes it so much more personal rather than just another corporation that lacks the human touch.
5) If you have some happy customers from previous jobs, ask them if they'd mind letting you put a testimonial on your site within another page ie ...http://aphy.com/testimonials. You say at the end of your about us blurb:
"It’s also proven that D&B Real Estate Photography can do just that!"..
......well you need to go ahead and prove it!! You can make that statement into a hot link and point it to your testimonial page.
Prospective clients like the idea of seeing what you have done before and what others think of you and your services.
6) Is there a reason for the account and checkout stuff at the top, are you planning to take payment in advance, or will it be for extra images after the main shoot has been done? Just wondering!
All in all though D, a nice looking site and a great start.
I wish you well in your new venture.
Good luck
Mark

I am not sure how to do #1 or #2 of what you suggested.
Suggestion #3 I am considering to use my current content on my about us page and using that content on a new home page you suggested.
Suggestion #4 I am working on script for personalizing my about page.
Suggestion #5 My goal is to create a testimonial page on the website and I will get a few past clients to write a review for the website. so that's a work in progress. I'm still learning how to put a testimonial site within another page.
Suggestion #6 I have removed the account and checkout stuff at the top of the page.
I truly appreciate your feedback on the website! It has been a great help!
Hi there D
Glad you appreciated my feedback, it makes it worthwhile doing.
#1 & #2
I think I would clear the content out of your "Home" page. Keep the page and title but write a whole new page of content about your company and have your domain name pointed to that.
Then, when people enter....
http://www.dbrealestatephotography.com
.....into their search engine they land on this new page of content telling them all about your company.
Then you can keep your "About Us" page (with all of your new personalised content) as it is and all of your other menu items as well.
In the blog post about staging tips, in the Contact Us paragraph I would then take out the sentence....
"....or for more information visit our website at................com"
......leaving them with just the email address to contact you.
If you want to link your blog post to another page on your site eg your "Interiors" page, then just decide where in your blog content you want to link from, highlight it, open the link tool in your editor and paste your "Interiors" page URL into it making sure you UNtick the box that says "open link in a new tab/window". That way, when your visitor clicks on the link it doesn't open in a new tab, it just stays within the same one they're already in.
That way you'll have an interior link from your blog to your "Interiors" page and Google loves it. Create a few more of these interior links throughout your pages linking one to another and you make it easier for your visitor to navigate around your site and Google loves it even more.

Just go to your wordpress back office, go to pages, add new page, give it a title of "Testimonials" and then click publish. You'll have a new page called Testimonials with no content but ready to accept your testimonials when you have them.
Just make sure the new page called "Testimonials" is in your menu list and it will appear on your top menu....empty but ready!
That, along with the other things you are doing should sort it out D so good luck.
