Importance of Selected Wordpress Theme

When you are in the journey of making your own website you have to choose the design of your site, called Theme.

Theme is the first thing visitors will see on your site.

All proposed Themes in WordPress are beautiful in their own way. The choice is individual. Selection and installation are very simple, and there is a possibility to look the demo versions of selected theme.
Here at Wealthy Affiliate free membership limits you to only 12 themes, but as a Premium member, you have access to over 2,400 themes (and this is growing daily) so it is difficult to choose the right one.

Themes that are at your disposal you can find in WordPress - Appearance -Themes.

My first choice was the theme called Ample. What can I say about this design. I think it is simple and clear, I had no problems when I was working, quickly opens the front page so I think it is good for beginners and it is Free!

When I finished all the courses at Wealthy Affiliates I realized that this theme has not a lot of customization options. For example, wanted to make some changes of the background, but I could not do it. Then I realized that when choosing a theme next time I have to be more careful I can not just pay attention of the visual part.

Fortunately, selected theme can be changed, the only risk is that your site may require some adjustments such as pictures or other adjustments that will improve the visual appearance of your site.

Generally most people want to use free themes to reduce cost as much as possible and that's fine. No need to worry because you can always change your theme and layout of your site.

Therefore, all of you who are doing the website for the first time, please give a little more time when choosing a design (theme) of your site, look at the visual appearance but also customization options and support of the selected theme

Some of the features I look for in a free or paid theme are:

1. Simplicity

• Is it easy to set up to work?
• Is it easy to customize? (colors, fonts, background..)
• Is it easy for the visitors to navigate through your website and read your content?

2.Support

- Does the Theme vendor offer a support?

If you building a site through the SiteRubix or Wealthy Affiliate and you pick up one of the themes, every one of them offers support of a person or company that create that theme.
If it’s a free theme, you need to make sure it is regularly updated to help avoid security holes and to make sure you get all the latest and greatest features.

-Does the theme vendor offer video tutorials or step by step guide?

-Is the theme update often?

And do not forget, the choice of theme is individual, something that I like, does not mean that you will like it, too
