if You’re talking about WA affiliates. Yes you can make a site promoting Wa. You would follow the affiliate boot camp training and build an affiliate site geared towards WA..

But if you’re talking some other product then you would follow the OEC training and talk about that product.

then getting affiliates to promote that is a good idea.

You don't have to build your own website to attract
affiliates. Instead, you can join affiliate networks like
share a sale, commission junction , awin etc to list
your product.

That way your product will get more exposure to
affiliates.

Instead of creating a website to attract affiliates.
You should be making a website to sell your own
product.

Go through "Online Entrepreneur Certification"
program.

On the part where you have to create content,
try to find keywords that are related to your
product if you have one and then write articles
based on that keyword.
