I can't spoil the ending for you...My novels haven't been published yet. Two are complete one 3/4 complete and the other in planning.
They are very entertaining if you like the genre. My beta readers have loved them.

"crosses and holy water will not affect me"
When I was young, vampires always turned away from the Cross and were scorched by holy water. With the loss of faith in Christianity amongst greater society, the power of the Cross diminished accordingly, as did the action of holy water on the undead.
I am reminded of a lecture by a Zen master (it may have been my favourite Zen master, Hui Neng, but I am uncertain). Whoever he was, said:
"Consider a man who paints the face of a demon upon a rock, then becomes frightened of the rock. Is he wise, or is he a fool?"
I try to keep an eye on the 'rocks' in my life onto which I've painted the faces of demons.
Many vampires today shop at Asda in the UK, or Walmart in America. 😉

Vampires and other scary creatures shop at Walmart. I used to work there in the overnight shift. I saw many of them. :)

So ... do Day Walkers make good Telecom Project Managers? Do you do your best work at night or during daylight hours?
Yes, they do.
I do my best work in the evening and overnight hours. I work from 3 - 11:30.
Even though I'm a daywalker, the overnight hours are my best, if I'm not too exhausted from the rigors of repairing the world wide web.
