ZPower affiliate program.
Hello and welcome!
I will cut the chase and get to the point. I have a hosting website, that will air soon. Alongside with adwords, seo, social marketing, I want to try an affiliate program.
The purpose of this blog is to discuss various ways of such program, start it and report with the results.
The first question:
for such program, would you recommend creating a banner (embed its code) or a link to a landing page is enough? Ofc I would make sure to track where the recommendations came from.
The second:
which reward is more appealing: fixed amount for f.e. year subscription, or percentage from any sales made?
Right now I am covering the boot camp and tutorials, might find answers there. Nevertheless, recommendations from various angles are appreciated.

Hi Vlad,
I would recommend creating banners and links so your subscribers or affiliates can advertise it in different format, to a landing page or a specific opening promo page if you have. For the reward, I've seen hosting companies pay their affiliates a percentage of any sales made, which I think is the better option. It's just a matter of what percentage you are willing to pay.
If you are familiar with commission junction, you can advertise your affiliate program there, especially if it's new. It can get a lot of exposure with a competitive commission plan.
