The first niche is always the hardest! But I am not of failure. What doesn't kill me, only makes me stronger, and that is true for most of us. My interests are with computers, but it is a very saturated market right now. I also like movies and thought of selling collectibles of critically acclaimed movies, but then most people don't buy nowadays. They just download movies from the internet. The could purchase other merchandise related to movies, but not the movie itself. You see my dilemma? My favorite niches are are currently the opposite of the market when it comes to profitability. Perhaps I shouldn't think of profiting first. That could give me peace of mind. What do you think? :)

1) 1st Niche: Computers: I know it's a huge niche talking about computers, but tell me, When you say computer is for Hardware (Like Hard Drive, Motherboard, Processors) or Software (Office, Anti-virus, games, etc). I asking to you because you have to be specific in which is your passion about computer. Example if you love saying about computer specs you should get a great potential or if Software you can get a great potential as well. Just think and try to doing a research. :)

2) Movies: What do you mean with "collectibles of critically acclaimed movies"? You mean you have for example the sword of Star Wars? Aditionally there a online Movies like Netflix and yo can earn money with Netflix:

Ok If you like a movie for Example: "Avengers" you can make a personal review about that Movie and link that movie with your Netflix aff id.

Every niche has a potential to earn money. My advice is make a deep research and check.

1) I have not narrowed it down for now but I am thinking about laptop reviews of popular custom gaming laptops. But the thing is, there are few or no affiliate programs for these and the market is only for a small set of hardcore gamers. 2nd, since I don't live in the US, even if I can afford to buy a unit for a hands-on review. It would take months to arrive and would delay my review. Review will be stale by the time it arrives.

2) I mean really critically acclaimed such as shawshank redemption and other classics. Star wars may also be considered. You see those collector's edition movies being sold on the internet? Those could be a good product. What's holding me back is that, for movie buffs. They won't buy the merchandise with the actual movie. They'd rather buy something else such as authentic posters for the movies (most being sold online are replicas). and those have very little to no profit since they are cheap.

So...maybe there is indeed a possibility for all of these once I zero in into my thoughts. I really appreciate the discussion you brought here. It really helps me a lot.

Enjoying it so far. But I'm stuck with choosing a niche. At first thought, I know for some reason that if I choose the path to write a blog about weight loss and fitness and just do it for profitability reason would be wrong and will not be a good place to start with.

That would be fine, but what aspect of "fitness". That is quite broad and you will want to narrow it down. Your goal should be to HELP people within a niche versus sell things to that niche. When you can help people, you build trust and you can generate revenue.
