I Think I May Change Direction Again
Hey there wusgood folks? Sometimes it's hard for me to write because I don't want people to know what I'm really thinking, like I'm self-conscious or embarrassed cuz I don't seem to think like everyone else.....
...but who does right?!!
I've been working on Make Slideshow Videos and about to put it on the back burner for Bearded Black Men because Animoto was taking a long while to get back with me concerning my "approval" for their affiliate program. Well they did today and told me "Sorry, but your website blah, blah, blah..."
So as I am diligently setting up my theme for BBM I get to thinking: "What if Scotch Porter (the awesome beard products brand) doesn't like my beard site and says, sorry blah blah whatever?" There's a lot internally going on in that question I asked myself, but I'm not here to bog you all down.
I guess what I'm thinking is promoting WA may not be such a bad idea. WA is actually more lucrative than both those niches (not that I'd give them up) and I'm actually starting to learn more of what we do here better than either of those.....kinda.

I was having the same type of feelings -- I was thinking heck - I can't even get my family to eat vegan-ish...what makes me think I can "sell others" on the idea? (www.grandmastarchivore.com) I then read a training on the keyword tool and spent today just looking up long-tail keywords. I found many with a fair amount of searches for topics I love and there is NO competition -- yes, the QSR value was ZERO!! I wanted to share this because I too thought about doing WA affiliate too but I spent a little time tweaking my thought process in a slightly different direction might just make a difference -- find something within your site that makes you different and then go find products maybe on Amazon... Don't give up just because the first one turns you down either - there are other companies and products and things for black men with beards...
