Three Months With WA And Changes
Today marks three months since I joined WA. I had a very busy day at work and am extremely tired, but wanted to write this yet tonight. I initially went looking for a way to make an income working online when things happened at work. I decided I had had enough with working for someone else.
I was actually researching another opportunity when I came across a review for WA. I read several others and just kept coming back to the WA website. I finally decided to sign up, and have not regretted that decision! A lot has happened in the last three months. Here are some highlights:
- Decided on a niche and started my website
- On Course 4, Lesson 9
- Signed up for affiliates
- Have Amazon affiliate on my website, no clicks yet
- Finally figured out Adsense and have ads on my sight
- Have several of my posts on pages in Google
- Website is on page 1 position 1
- Earned $0.05 from Adsense on Wednesday of this week after just figuring out my Adsense on Monday of this week
- Have daily traffic to my site
- Am using tools given by other WA members to use with my website
- Finally have 539 followers (took awhile to get to 500) and am following 1096
- In the top 200 (Rank today is 198)
I am very pleased with my progress over the past three months. I feel with the amount of time that I had to work on my website and interact with the WA community, that I am doing pretty well.
My goals for the next month are:
- Get some changes done to my website
- Add more posts and reviews
- Finish the training
- Get into the top 100
I may have other goals, but these are the ones I can think of as I am writing this. I am very thankful for this community and the opportunity I have been given. Thank you to Kyle and Carson for for this awesome community and the great training. Thank you also to all who have joined my network. I truly appreciate that you decided to join me on this journey!
Now onto the changes. As I wrote in a previous post, I have changes that are going to be happening. Since August, I have been working at an Educare as a Head Start Preschool teacher. I really enjoyed the kids, but some things happened at school that made me decide I was not going back in the fall. Those changes started today, as today was my last day there and our Preschool graduation.
I thought I was supposed to be working until June 3rd, so thought I had a little more time to look for another job. I could get another teaching job for the fall, but I need to have a job over the summer since Head Start does not pay over the summer unless you are hired through a school. They somehow found out I was not coming back in the fall, so my last day became today instead of June 3rd. Today was very bittersweet since I enjoyed working with the kids and also liked the people I worked with. I am already missing the kids.
So now I will be working on my website and training and also looking for a new job. I hope to be able to get a lot completed and learn a lot in the time I have before I find a new job. Although this came a little sooner than I was thinking (I thought I had a couple more weeks) I am looking at this as a blessing in disguise. And who knows what will happen between now and the time I find a new job.

A business's most valuable asset is the employees, but I've never worked for a company that treated the employees as anything but disposable no matter how much the employee contributes or sacrifices for the company..
Yea, sometimes I would think about going back in the fall because one of our two teachers that are hired through the school is not coming back. So I thought about applying for his position, but I just don't want to do the commute anymore.
