My Two Cents Worth

I read a post recently from a member who felt that some posts, trainings, and questions should not be allowed on the WA forum. Now I believe he is entitled to his opinion, and I don’t totally disagree with him. However, I do not totally agree with him either.
Wealthy Affiliate is a great place to learn and build a foundation for an online business. I have never seen anything like this on the internet, and I don’t believe I ever will! With that being said, I also feel that this is a place for people to feel safe and share their successes, disappointments, struggles, motivation, ask questions, share knowledge, and so much more.
I know that it has made me feel better when I can share my successes and struggles with the WA community and know that I am not going to be judged but encouraged and loved for who I am, even though no one knows me personally.
I also like the idea of being able to reach out to other members and help them if I can. But I do not feel quite as knowledgeable as some already are to help as much as I would maybe like to! But I will continue to be everyone’s cheerleader when they need one!!

Getting back to the point as to why I am writing this. I am way behind in reading emails. Other things in my life have had to take precedence, so I am a good three weeks to a month behind in email. But for me, it is important that I read them because I may be encouraged, motivated, be able to encourage someone who has been struggling or celebrate their successes! I don’t wish to lose this.
At the same time, I do agree that some topics that you would share on Facebook or other social media, maybe should not be shared here. But then again, if Kyle and Carson feel the need to change the way the posts are done, then I do not oppose that. Kyle gave an excellent response to this post that I felt really made it clear.
I do not write posts often, but when I do they are about my successes, struggles, or maybe some other topic that does have some relevance to WA. I try, but that does not mean I am always successful.
I also agree with what Kyle said, in that if you do not wish to read something that you feel is irrelevant to WA then delete it and don’t read it. I won’t say there are posts I have felt are necessarily irrelevant, but there have been some that I have just not read for whatever reason, deleted them, and moved on.
I am not writing this post to make anyone angry with me or to hurt any feelings. When I read this post I had a very strong feeling on it and felt I needed to share how I felt. So if anyone is upset with what I have written then I wish to apologize right now, as that was not my intention.
I love this community and am very happy that I stumbled across it and joined! I have met so many wonderful people who I consider my friends. We are all unique and different and have our opinions on things.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and have a productive week ahead!
