If You Are Not Fetching With Google You Should Be

For some reason I have been struggling with writing posts lately for my website. I know there is plenty to write about, so I am not sure why I am struggling. Anyway, even though it is Independence Day here in the United States, I did get a post published to my site.

I recently read a training done by boomergp08, and I know others have been done as well but this is the one I read recently, and it was about going to Webmaster and using the fetch as google tool to index your posts to Google.

After I completed my post today, I went to Webmaster and did just that. In his training he stated that you would need to wait a while before checking to see if your post has been indexed and where it is indexed.

An hour after I fetched my post, I went to Jaaxy out of curiosity to see if it was indexed and where. To my surprise, Jaaxy said my post was on page one position four. Now, I am not totally naive to believe this is completely accurate. But it is still motivating to think my post is that high after being posted for an hour.

I suppose I could go on other sites and it may say it is indexed much lower or not at all. But I am going to continue to believe it is indexed on page one.

My point for this post is that if you are not using the fetch tool on Google Webmaster then you really need to start using it. It definitely lets Google know much faster that you have a post needing to be indexed in Google.

Learning these new tools to use to help with getting indexed in the search engines and helping to make your website recognized so you will get traffic, is one of the great things about the Wealthy Affiliate Community. I heave learned so much in the last 4 1/2 months, and I have so much more to learn.

I hope this post will encourage you, especially those who are new to Wealthy Affiliate to fetch your posts after you write them.
