You are a diamond in the rough of life
I WROTE THIS POEM A FEW YEARS AGO. MY WEALTHY AFFILIATE FRIENDS, DO NOT EVER FORGET, YOU ARE DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH.
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH
Weathered with hands and time, is a diamond in the rough…
Not so very elegant, it appears to be rather tough.
Coupled with artistic hands, intention brings it through…
It struggles to become itself, and then it presents itself to you.
To wear upon a lovely hand, a token of what’s pure…
A promise made, as the struggle fades, that love’s faith will then endure.
A magnificent ray of elegance, when the diamond hits the light…
As the jeweler cuts the ragged edge, his eyes shine with delight.
For through the troubled struggle, the edges are cut away…
The diamond has found its elegance, forever whispering, “I’ll stay!”
Just like a beautiful diamond, we’re all diamonds in the rough…
Struggling to make it through, ragged and still tough!
I know the light will shine, on the beauty you have inside…
With your ragged edges chipped away, you’ll have nothing at all to hide.
You are a gem of brilliance, you’ll shine bright like a star…
When the jeweler cuts the ragged edge, he’ll then show us who you are!
One day the light will shine, on the prism that is you…
And you’ll then be the symbol, of everything that’s true.
A diamond is forever, no doubt is there to find…
I’ve seen a beautiful diamond when you come to my mind!

Thank you for sharing this. It is not easy to put oneself out there for all to see. The brilliance inside is not always appreciated and we must take the bad with the good.
But, before any of that can happen, we have to take the first step and allow others to see what we have created. We have to open ourselves up to critics.
Thank you again for the share.

Very beautiful Denise! Write On dear!
You gave us a lovely treat today and a story of how life is if we stand up to it and demand more of ourselves.
Salt used to be worth more than gold.
So an excellent word cutter is certainly worthy of their
wages as well!
Nice work!
