What is CPA marketing and CPA networks?
What is CPA marketing?
When you hear CPA you may think of a Certified Public Accountant, not in this case. CPA is a certain aspect of affiliate marketing.
It stands for Cost-Per-Action or Cost-Per-Acquisition. What that means is you get paid when someone clicks on your affiliate link and completes an action. The action can be as simple as a app download, but it usually consist of filling out a form.
CPA marketing is affiliate marketing with a twist.
How does CPA work?
In the image above you can see CPA is similar yet different from "revenue sharing". Revenue sharing is commission earned off of a sale. If you are an Amazon or eBay affiliate you partake in this aspect of affiliate marketing.
CPA in a nutshell focuses on leads over sales, in order to get started with CPA you want to look into CPA networks.
What are CPA Networks?
A CPA Network connects the advertiser with one or more companies. A company contacts a CPA network regarding launching a campaign to generate leads. The CPA Network has advertisers(like you) who can pick one or more of those to advertise.
There are a number or CPA networks to choose from. When considering a CPA network it is bit more strict than a typical affiliate network, you will have to process an application to see you you qualify to become an advertiser or affiliate. It is great to have a referral link from someone who is already active within the network you choose. However it is not "required".
When choosing a CPA network you want to consider doing research on "the best CPA networks" or "top CPA networks.
The CPA networks I am aware of are
- MaxBounty
- PeerFly
- Clickbooth
- Cash Network
- Adscend Media
The top 2 are the top picks for many marketers looking for CPA networks. If you have trouble looking for the best CPA network your best bet is to join Offervault.

I personally got into Wealthy Affiliate to assist me in building my CPA business, I have been pursuing CPA marketing since late 2016 and I am still learning the ins and outs. I have big goals when it comes to CPA and there is no separation from me and my outcome
In long term I will have my own CPA network for marketers to apply for with 1st class training.
Until next time, all the best.
