How do you decide to follow on WA???

When I joined WA I had no idea the amount information that I would be learning and the resources that were available to me as a Premium member. The issue of "following" was a big difficult concept for me because in all the training I didn't see anything about why I would want to follow another member here on WA .... AND then I had a Aha Moment.
To follow someone on WA, for me anyway, is a choice to "tag" members here that I want to see what they are posting in the Top 10, classrooms or who have personal helped me with my learning via PM here on WA. When I see a member blogging and someone contributes something I find interesting and true this is what I do:
1. I LIKE and comment on their blog;

2. Go to their Profile and see when they joined, the blogs they have written so far, websites they choose to share in their Profile;
3. And if I like what I see about them (which so far I have liked every Profile I have chosen to view) I Follow them!!
So you see I make a conscience choice to follow them because they have something to offer me. I review my following of members monthly to see if I missed any information from any one of them and to see how they are doing. To date I have chosen 30 to follow and each one of them had something important to offer me. That is how I do my following here at WA.
Please be aware that you are "graded" if you will here at WA on the amount of people you have following you. I have not figured out if the member who has 3491 followers is any better than one of the 183 who are following me and don't actually care about the "grading" opportunity on the number of followers I have. What is important here at WA is I have figured out how to locate individual members I have liked their articles, tips or tricks and don't have to do a search and hope I find them on here. I would like to think this is how people come to follow me ..... but I am unsure of that aspect of things.
