I have now been with Wealthy Affiliate for 4 years!

Last Update: February 21, 2018

Today I just got a notification and a badge that I have been with Wealthy Affiliate for 4 years! That is quite an amazing accomplishment and I have no plans on leaving. I've been learning a lot and I plan to make this year and the next 4 years much better than the last 4 years I've been here.

The training does work, but I've moved a lot more slowly on things than others here have. While my first website has earned just a little bit of income, I still have a long ways to go to reach the income goals I have set out for myself. This year, I'm being more aggressive or consistent in the work I put in plus I've been going back through the training as I've now realized there are things that I've missed and there has been updated training as well which has been quite refreshing.

One thing I'm also doing differently now is using SiteContent quite a bit and I absolutely love it. It has made writing easier and has surprised me how quickly I'm able to get my posts to 1,000+ words. I will continue to ramp up my SiteContent use and move through the training as well. I really want to start increasing my income and I'm reinforcing the foundations so that I can make that happen.

I'm also moving slowly - but sometimes that's how life works. Many on WA are able to devote a full time effort, while others like me can only do it part time. Like you I am going back to the start of the training...and following the instructions to the letter. I raced through it - and that's not the way to do it.

You'll get there. Good luck.

Congratulations, Brian.
I am in my 3rd year, and like you, I have no plans of leaving soon.
These last few months, things are finally sinking in for me as well.
Do not be so concerned with your neighbor's grass.
It always looks greener, but it belongs to your neighbor.
Be proud of your accomplishments.
You have done well.

Congratulations Brian.

I'll be coming up on 4 years later this year. I'm still adjusting to my wife needing more of my attention and that must remain my first priority. It has reduced my available time to work on my sites, but I'm still in the game and I'm still learning.

One of the things that keeps me going here is our wonderful community, K&C and this incredible platform that just keeps getting better and better.

I agree ... SiteContent is a great feature and I love Jaaxy. The old WA Keyword tool worked quite well for me, but the Jaaxy free option works even better.

Wow, it has been 4 years already. I am sure looking back and what you have learned over this period is amazing, but this is just the start of brilliant things to come and I know your next 4 are truly going to be years of growth in your business.

So glad you have gained a liking to SiteContent as well, it is truly my go to for content creation and I was able to pull of two 10K word writing days so far this week!

Kyle, you, Carson, and the rest of your team have done an absolutely amazing job here with the training and tools you offer to ensure everyone's success. What you've done to integrate Jaaxy into Wealthy Affiliate is just simply amazing and I love that you update the training with new information that is relevant to ensure members here reach the goal of a thriving online business.

I look forward to see all the new things you'll be rolling out this year and into the next year as well. It seems things are only going to get better from here :)

Congratulations on your 4 year badge. Everyone works at different speeds, plus we all have lives that can get in the way. Stay focused and determined and you will and can succeed at anything. Thankyou for this post, after reading it your post has helped me realize a few things that I may have missed as well. All the best.

Congrats on 4 years. It sounds like you were hoping for more income than you have attained thus far. Many people might have gotten frustrated and given up - what has kept you going?

What has kept me going is the fact that there is no true stability in the traditional job world anymore, a painful lesson I learned about a year ago. While I did get another day time job, I had to have a pay cut as well as start at the bottom of the totem pole again. I also have debt I so desperately want to get rid of and I know if I give up and quit here, I will never reach my goal of getting out of debt and having true financial stability that WA offers for those that are willing to work for it.

I'm pushing myself harder this time and going back through the training again because I know I missed things and also want to see what has been updated.

Good, you have experiences to share with us. Of all your posts which do you think has the most traffic and which has earned?
Reply
Defiant6 Premium
Probably the one where I promoted several different products that had sales on them at the time as I did a PPC campaign on it once. It didn't turn out how I had hoped, but a few sales came from it. Other then that, most of my revenue has come from AdSense.

Thank you. I am wondering why my Adsense earning is not increasing. There was a time it increased but this time it seems it is not improving.
What's the secret of it?
Reply
Defiant6 Premium
My AdSense revenue has actually decreased a bit as well, but I know towards the second half of last year, I had not updated my website as often as I should thus causing things to take a hit. My goal now is getting back into a consistent pattern and get my site health back up and hopefully start building more traffic so I can start picking up my Adsense revenue again.

Ok, so the traffic is the key.
Reply
Defiant6 Premium
Yes, I was actually getting some decent traffic to where I was getting a click or 2 daily. Now that has dropped off quite significantly and I'm lucky to get a click every 7 days it seems like.
