Why You Should Be Using Pinterest For Your Business

Last Update: May 27, 2018

Are you skipping Pinterest in your online strategies because you are feeling overwhelmed when it comes to social media? You’re probably creating content for multiple platforms, scheduling your content and engaging online as well, right?

But…

What is your success rate?

Social Media could well be a full time job and Pinterest is probably the one platform that you’re neglecting. Why? Maybe you just don’t understand how Pinterest could possibly work for your niche.

I was once in that boat. I wasted so much time using Instagram, trying to reach my niche market, offering tips and advice, growing and engaging but I was rarely getting click throughs to my website from Instagram.

Yes, you heard it from me. I consider Instagram a complete waste of time!

Then I decided to focus all of my energy on Pinterest. Initially I was using Pinterest to hoard and save relevant Pins that I would read up on and educate myself. Then it occurred to me, this is exactly what others are using Pinterest for.

To search, to educate, and to buy!

But, using Pinterest as a business is somewhat different than using it for personal reasons.

Pinterest does look like fun, but if you are a business owner and want to reap the rewards from being active and visible on Pinterest, it’s important to stay up to date with all the changes and updates that go along with it.

Within weeks of implementing my strategies, my click throughs to my website had increased!

I now consistently get 80% of my traffic to my website from Pinterest alone!

Imagine gaining a new audience, new fans and new buyers in a matter of weeks?
