Progressing Slowly
Just got my Google Adsense code on my site. I am up to around 4 pages and 7 posts, with more posts being lined up. Got some affiliate links up. Google analytics shows around 13 visitors lol. My bounce rate is down to 60% (was 85% :-( ). I hope that is good for 2 weeks worth of work. I just keep plugging away at the lessons, and hope to get better. Don't know yet how to tell what pages Google has indexed, unless I manually type in each post in Google to check.

I tried manually typing pages in and couldn't find them. I have a few indexed and my site is ranked yet I can't find it with google. It is all confusing to me but we shall see how it plays out. I hope you have continued luck and that 13 turns into 130!
Thank you! I just read another members blog post, and she said she received an e-mail each time a page was indexed . I guess I will have to stare at my inbox lol.

UPDATE: Google Adsense rejected my site! I was already frustrated with this...this is their response:
"We're unable to approve your AdSense application at this time because your site does not comply with the Google AdSense program policies or adhere to the Webmaster Quality guidelines" It’s important for sites displaying Google ads to offer significant value to the user. As a publisher, you must provide unique and relevant content that gives users a reason to visit your site first.
"Don’t place ads on auto-generated pages or pages with little to no original content.
Your site should also provide a good user experience through clear navigation and organization. Users should be able to easily click through your pages and find the information they’re seeking."
I have worked hard on this site, and Google says I am not providing visitors with quality content! I am about to throw in the towel...unless I can figure out another niche and website, and start from scratch.
