I'm using the flatblocks theme and have used a page template, built it out as i want it and saved it as a page. I've then gone into reading settings and set that page as

You may go under your pages tab and check if it has been created. Also in settings > reading you would be able to see from the drop down menu, make sure you select the correct page.

Yes, I've done that. The page is there and selected but doesn't show up when I go into the site. Have a few more things to try now. Thank you

I'm mostly concerned with moving my site. I can't afford another year here right now. Maybe I should just let the site close down and then copy the posts to shopify.
One more thing. If WA close my site next month do I still own the domain and can I move it?
For any websites hosted here, you need to arrange alternative hosting for your website before your subscription ceases, as you would be locked out of the platform, site support backups are only available for 60 days.
You can never revert to being a starter.
I also suggest you backup your sites; you can use the AIO WP Migration or Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended one.

It is also worth contacting Shopify support and asking them how to migrate your site over to them; they'll give you step-by-step instructions.

How to Transfer a Domain Name to Wealthy Affiliate How To Point Your Domain Name To WA NEW Go Daddy DNS details to make it work: To transfer your domain here you need login current registrar and fetch the EPP code, there's a one year charge of $15, privacy included. One year more will get added to your domain.
Also it has to have passed the grace period of 60 days.
You need get in touch with your current registrars support and give them the nameservers if pointing, or ask them how to fetch the EPP authorization code to help you transfer domain if dot com, dot net or dot org provided it has passed the grace period of 60 days.
Site support here cannot help, they will ask you for the EPP authorization code, as without you cannot transfer the domain.

Thanks for the reply. I was actually wondering if there is a way to move the site without the domain. I want to change the domain eventually so don't want to renew it, was just hoping to keep the site on a free domain for a while til I decide what to do with it. Do you know if that's possible?
You can follow up on my second comment above i.e. contact site support and ask them to help you migrate site.
Once it is on siterubix and everything is okay, you may then change the domain and do your bit.
Or you can migrate it yourself if you know what you are doing.
