Organizations That Show Trust

There are organizations for almost anything you can imagine. I got to thinking that I would have more of an edge over the competition as well as increase my brand awareness by joining some type of "green" or "solar" based organization.

Recently, I started looking for organizations of public interest that had anything to do with Go Green and Solar power. I found several organizations that have different goals and purposes. The one that I discovered is called The California Business Alliance For a Green Economy. After filling out their applications (which really was just what my site's goals were and how I am helping promote the ideas of creating a better environment.

I was accepted! Not only did I get an honorable mention on their facebook page (which has over 1000 members), I was granted the right to display their logo on my website! Now at the footer of every page on lightmite,com you can see the CBA logo. I think this is great for promoting my site and I plan on contributing some content to their blog as well.

I guess we will see what comes of it, but I expect good things.
