I Never Thought I Would Learn to Enjoy what I HATED in School.

So I managed to get half of my next article typed up, after researching and choosing the most optimal keywords. I haven't been writing and publishing as much as I should, but I'm getting back in the groove.

I will say, English was my very LEAST favorite class, with WRITING essays as my LEAST favorite part of it. My writing, in my eyes, was never good enough. Especially if we had to be creative and make up a story to write about. At least with this, I am writing about something that is real and something that I actually have experience in and know about.

I never liked reading books either, but recently learned that I absolutely LOVE to research ANYTHING that strikes my fancy. When I get interested in something, I will research until I know almost everything about it! This is where I think my "obsessive compulsive" behavior comes in handy.

Turning this line of work into a job is changing my feelings about writing, by allowing me to write about things I am truly passionate about, thus improving my writing and vocabulary skills (I haven't used a thesaurus in YEARS!).

However, the lack of desire to want to write my entire life still makes it hard to get into the habit of being motivated to write new articles frequently. I am slowly, but surely, getting better at this. I have found that getting started is the hardest part, but once I get started, I get on a roll!

The point of this blog (longest blog I've ever written!) is to express my gratitude to the whatever it was that guided me here to WA. I honestly don't even remember how I stumbled across it. I signed up when I was still working full-time, so I didn't really have the time to do anything with it till now.

I've always said "I want to be my own boss. I want the freedom to travel. I want to be successful." If you believe you shall receive, and receive I shall!
