For any websites hosted here, you need to arrange alternative hosting for your website before your subscription ceases, as you would be locked out of the platform; site support backups are only available for 60 days.
You can never revert back to being a starter.
You may reach out to site support for a backup of your websites.
Also, domain names must have passed the grace period of 60 days.
Hi, its really not clear how I go about doing this.
Do I need to keep the membership going to allow me to run and edit my website?
Cheers
You can choose a different hosting business and migrate your site to them if you do not wish to stay with WA.
Otherwise, once you cancel, your site will go down as hosting is part of your subscription here; I hope this clarifies your inquiry better.
It would be best to migrate BEFORE you are locked out of the platform. In answer to your question, once locked down, you CANNOT do anything unless you renew your subscription.
However, you can access your site domain area.
So I choose another hosting service to migrate my website over and I can still use it fully?
I dont need to keep WA membership in place to be able to run and edit my website?
Yeah, once migrated, the hosting would no longer be with WA.
However, you can choose to stay or go even if your sites are hosted elsewhere. That would totally be your choice.
To be clear once transferred to another hosting site, I will be able to run and edit my website with no membership to WA?
Yeah you would then have to login your new hosting provider, that's provided your domains are premiums i.e. a .com
Siterubix subdomains remain the property of WA.

Hi guys,
Could you help me out.
I have a couple of Youtube videos on my new channel, that are related to my posts.
Should I add them to the matching post
Yes!
Posts are often improved by adding videos and what better way than by adding your own videos. That way, people aren’t being sent out of your post to someone else’s video and maybe purchasing from them.
Also, as you gain experience, you may find that you don’t just use YouTube to drive traffic to your website. Who knows - maybe your website may be used to drive traffic to your YouTube channel! They fit together in synchronicity when done right.
Cheers!
Darlene
Perfect, great stuff.
So I do have one another video from another channel , but as you say to have my channel and the website interconnecting would be ideal?
i would say it is always counter-productive to send people out of your site to another one, but you do need some external links. Just dont use to many videos from other people and investigate how yo make your videos as soon as possible
Oh, how come?
Also from what I can see the embed can only go at the very top or bottom of the page. If thats true, which would you say is a better position?
Cheers
Dean
Yeah, you can embed and share them in your blog where relevant :) I take it that's your channel and content.
All elements on the web page should be relevant.
It is not always counterproductive if they add value :)
You can also add links to your YouTube videos to backlink your website.
Yep my channel and content. So add links from my you tube channel to my website in the description?
Fabulous, you run both mediums :) No you want to click the plus icon top menu and search for Youtube block, input your YouTube destination URL and save the changes.
For your Youtube, there's places where you input your links and in the description of the videos.
Cool, thanks a lot.
When embedding the Youtube video to my post I can see it can only be at the very top or bottom of my post, is that correct?
You can use the handles to push it up or down your content. The handles are up and down.
Yep, I see that the handles only ever take the embedded content to the very top or the bottom. Not a big issue, just wondered if I was doing something incorrectly.

Hi Chaps,
I hope all is well with you.
Could you assist in how to add fonts so I could change things up in my header title?
Much appreciated.
Dean
Some free themes may have limitations with Typography, you can try the 'Use Any Font' plugin.

Hi,
I go to the back office and click on appearance, then customize.
In there, you can change your font in 'typography"

Hi all,
I hope you're good.
Can I ask you a question about one of my posts? Or any.
It has ranked well and wanted to use this as a review and add some a
FYI all,
I just installed a
"Buy one click WooCommerce" and immediately crashed my website.
Site support is assisting.
The WooCommerce plugin is okay :) There must be something else on your site that caused this.
I will let it marinate in the search engines before turning it into a commercial intent if it is a review post. Or else work on your internal linking to invite Google to crawl other posts. Better Internal Links in Wordpress
Hi - any change to a post, affiliate link or not, could potentially change its position for better or worse.
As far as I know, you can add affiliate links, and it will not change anything, but it should help your readers. Just make sure you have your disclaimer that this article contains affiliate links and that if they should buy, I will earn commissions. I do three links: near the beginning, after the introduction, in the middle, and at the end of my article. I use a button for that (depending on which affiliate program you are aligned with)! Go ahead and do that! 😀
Cheers for this
Is the button installed via a plugin?
Amazon being a main one, how do you go about adding that?
All the best
