Day 13: Goals & Motivation

Goals.

I think today is a good time to lay out my plans and intentions.

I did not enter WA without something that's pushing me, and nowadays I'm somewhat forgetting that intention. And it's only Day 13.

Before I forget what got me here in the first place, if you don't mind allow me to share why I purchased Premium Plus here at WA.

Going back to my first post, I mentioned that it's the COMMUNITY that makes the investment worth it.

And given it's only under 2 weeks that I'm here, you guys are taking part already in my blog posts - thank you so much for that!

I was truly never mistaken - it's the COMMUNITY that's the main value I'm getting from the platform. This isn't yet taking account the training, tools, the Hub, AI, expert classes, and so much more to unravel as I continue my journey.

At any rate, allow me to announce my intentions (in public) and let me know what you think.

My Comeback Plan

I have nothing in mind right now but to claim my success.

Success for me is when I set out to do something and I'm accomplishing it (or part of it).

What if I set up my goals in reverse? Starting from my ultimate goal?

I've always wanted to hang out with the guys at Vegas and accomplish the 300 Premium referrals through my hard work and using my own strategy. This means I'll be heading back to the Bootcamp niche.

But not yet today.

Today's focus is on securing my niche site success. Because by having a niche website that's making me money through affiliate marketing, I will have achieved the fundamental goal of Wealthy Affiliate.

For the future referrals seeing me as their referrer, they know they're following someone who has a track record. I can be confident of bringing people in using my proven success.

I'm willing to put off the "make money" niche until later. I'm going to have to organize and document my niche site success, which is what I'll use as "offer" to gather referrals. It's why I'm doing my best to revive and create new niche sites.

But if you know me, I have a website outside of WA. I might have to use the WA platform for creating a niche site, so that I can prove Wealthy Affiliate works.

Which is fine for me - the outside website may have been too broad for me anyway. I'm going to niche it down a little bit, then host that niche site here inside Wealthy Affiliate.

As for the numbers and tangible goals, I'm still working on them, like what's my plan for monetization or how I'm going to record my progress in my niche blog.

But going back to Day 1, the plan has been to recoup my investment at Wealthy Affiliate by making back at least $500 in my first year, which ensures I have money to continue the next year.

My Activity & Action Plan

So far I spent 17 minutes on my business and did not hang out in my niche.

I apologize for the laziness - it's Sunday here in my place!

The action plan I have is to begin from Week 3 (Day 15-21) and start aiming for the 30 hours per week goal I've promised myself in my WA Profile.

And as I said, I'll be diving down to the specifics of setting up my battle plan. I hope I could accomplish it in my first year at WA.

It truly feels different if you have actual goals in place. I suggest you try it too!
