Day 118: The Types of Post I've Created So Far

I returned to watching training today, the first one was about the different blog post formats I can potentially create.

On this note, I'm curious as to what type of blog posts I've already produced in my blog.

So I went back to my current blog posts to check what I created.

Here's what I ended up doing.

The Types of Post I Already Have

It's no fun just putting out content and forgetting them already.

So once in a while, I make it a point to visit them and see how I could improve them.

Turns out, I've already made the following types of post in my blog:

1. List Post - I'm fond of detailing the different ways to do something that's related to the topic
2. How-to Post - I also created practical guides like a how-to in order to teach readers about a topic
3. Informational Post - Do you know those articles that introduce you to a topic (what is [topic]) or articles that bring up an argument (should you do this or not), because I have a fair share of them too

That's all I have at the moment.

But soon, I'm looking to expand into these types of posts:

1. Pillar Post - I'm on my way to assembling the pieces of a pillar post, which will come out after completing several topics under the umbrella topic
2. Review Post - After getting to 15 posts, I will start to consider products I can review in my niche, then plan for the blog posts talking about them
3. Step-by-Step Post - Kind of like a procedural post wherein the items are arranged in proper order in order to talk about the topic, I plan to create some too under my niche

The important thing here is to deliver the information to my audience using the proper structure of blog content, which is why I'm experimenting with these kinds of posts.

Exposure Time (Business): 10 minutes

Exposure Time (Niche): 10 minutes

Who would have thought that a quick dip in a blogging topic would spark the idea for this day's WA post? I just watched a video, then off I go towards blogging it.

What would happen if I spent an hour or two immersing back into the blogging stuff?

Hopefully, more content ideas that would naturally spark in my mind!
