Finding Ways to Speed Up Your Website
Several people have been writing about the Google Speed Test tool within the WA community. It's really a good tool to identify how your website is performing in various areas. They also give some suggestions on how to address your websites 'problem areas', but those suggestions can be somewhat technical in nature.
When I first used this tool to test my website, the ratings were dismal - to say the least. So I set out to find simple ways to quickly improve my site speed, and now I'm over 85 in all areas. (I started out below 40!)

Some are not aware of the new SiteSpeed addition yet. Just in case you aren't, here is the link: SiteSpeed - Taking WordPress Website Speed into Unchartered Territory! With this new platform, we were told to remove any cashing plugins like WP Fastest Cache for example because SiteSpeed takes care of this. It may cause issues to have both. We have to remove any plugins regarding specific things.
I added EWWW Image Optimizer which was suggested.
SiteSpeed which is now added to SitePlus+ takes care of the rest.
