Thanksgiving is a few days away.

What am I most thankful for this year?

As my 1st month here at WA comes to an end, I sit here and reflect over all the accomplishments that I have completed. It has been 36 days since I have joined WA. In the last 36 days I have created a website, wrote 11 post, received around 20 comments on a few posts, been indexed by Google, and just this past week, became an affiliate with Amazon, Flexoffers, Click Bank and Google AdSense.

I started here at WA with a goal in mind, I need to supplement my current income. I am sure most in our community had that same thought process. In the beginning I dove right into the lessons and started my journey.

There has been so much to learn and there is an unbelievable amount more to go. Every day has been an adventure. Was it hard? YES but, so worth the time and struggle. I am thankful for all the wonderful community members that are so willing to help. I am also thankful for the wonderful programs inside WA.

As I reflect, I realize WA has become much more than just a place to build a website. WA has become a new purpose for me. When you become disabled, as I did, you feel like you lose who you once were. You have to discover a "new" you. WA has become a big part of the new me and has given me purpose again.

So this year for Thanksgiving, I am not only Thankful for my family and friends. I am Thankful for WA and all the wonderful people that make up WA.

Thank you all and Best Wishes,

Dana

Great post-Dana I enjoyed reading it very much. I understand what you are saying because I have alot to thankful. I have a stroke and I have to move around. On ThursdayThanksgiving day we have to help the homeless get out of the cold and give them a hot meal to eat. There is more I might turn it in as a blog I will try to get it done but I don't think I will not before Thursday.

Best wishes and have a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy your family and friend.

Thank you Mary. I look forward to reading your next blog.

I hope your Thanksgiving was filled with all the love and kindness that you and your family have displayed with helping the homeless family. My 15 year old son and I actually have been making plans to go feed the homeless or adopt a family this Christmas. I am currently researching the details on how we can achieve this goal and we plan on adding this as our new holiday tradition.

Best Wishes,

Dana

That is a great tradition to start. There are so many homeless people out on the streets today. They had alot of places to go over the Thanksgiving holiday which was great they weren't on the streets.

I think I can relate to your situation. I was also put disability at a young age. I know about not having a purpose in life. That's why I join WA :)

The struggle is real for a lot of us on disability. May you have a Happy Thanksgiving.

I will and l wish you wonderful thanksgiving.

Keep up the good work Dana. You will be amazed at where you are in 3 months, 6 months, etc...I have been here just 4 months and ready to go with my Personal Training site for the New Year's resolutionists. If your site is up, PM me your url and I will leave you some good comments. Happy Gobbler Day!

Thank you and yes I would be honored to send you a PM and to also return the favor. I can't wait to see what the future holds here at WA. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.
