Is Fast and Affordable Too Broad a Niche?

Hello everyone.

So, due to certain circumstances, I have been away from WA for some time now. While away, I've been pondering about the niche I chose for my first website. It involves computers, and as we all know that's way too broad. Now, is having a niche about fast and affordable computers still too broad? I remember making an article about the different kinds of computers brands and asking which would people prefer. Looking back at it now, listing the different brands instead of sticking to one brand might not have been a good choice.

I'm still new to all this, so at the time it seemed like a good idea, but now I'm pondering whether it's the right move. The issue is, all the brands have their pros and cons, and
I don't have a particular favorite. So should I choose one like Apple or HP and stick to one, or is it fine to list the brands, just focus on ONE of their popular, fast and affordable products? I choose affordable since I'm just starting out and don't wanna bite off more than I can chew. As I progress and get more acustom with writing articles and making websites, I'll strive for more, really challange myself. Nothing wrong with wanting more in life, but rushing will never help.

For those who took the time to read this, I'd like to hear your opinion on the matter. I feel this will give me some insight on where I go from here. Thank you

Hey Dante! If there are lots of people looking for fast and affordable products then it will work fine.

You can choose a handful of products that are your favorites and use them as your recommendations.

You can write about any product you want and compare them to your favorites and explain why you choose one over the other.

Even your favorites might change and that's ok. Just be open and honest with your audience.

It helps to write things down and map it out. Check some keywords and see how competitive your target keywords are.

Hope this helps :)

Good post -- to help you answer your own question -- consider what the consumer or user would like to know about 'computers' -- to use? , to buy? , to rent? ... to make? ... there's so much out there... what about features that are vital? ... Macs vs PCs... and on it goes...
by the way, in terms of speed -- isn't the internet provider responsible for that? ... see, what do i know? ... lol ... or how about a review of internet service providers? ... tons of material for you to work with... hope this helps a wee bit... :)

Thank you for your advice. I'll start thinking about it and hope to come up with a solution. As for internet provider, as far as I know it DOES play a big part. Of course, the parts within the computer help it run even better. I'll definitely do more info gathering and see where I go from there.
