My wife and I are about to make one of our dreams come true.

We will be transitioning into the lifestyle of full time RV living.

Our plans are to tour the continental US (Canada) and see things we have only dreamed of.

We have been searching high and low for the right RV for about 6-8 months and yesterday we found it.

It is not brand new, but it will be new to us. That is the RV and the lifestyle.

No longer will we be seeing the beautiful USA from 30,000 feet above, but close enough to get our feet dirty and smell nature in the rough.

How Did We Get Here?

The stars are in alignment!

One of our daughters moved in with us about 1 year ago with our 2 grandsons.

After a year watching my grandsons grow, I realized that we could leave the house with my daughter and her sons.

This would allow my wife and I the freedom to live the RV dream.

So, the search was on for that perfect home away from home.

Many questions needed to be answered.

Many things to plan.

Many things to consider.

Going full time in a RV is a process and something that you can not rush into. There are many mistakes that first time RV buyers make and I was determined not to be one of those.

So how did we do this?

How To Learn From Others Mistakes?

Two words, You Tube!

The world of videos is very valuable in getting doing your research for what ever you are thinking of doing, such as going full time RV.

This is a great resource for getting a message out or learning from others messages.

Millions of people, even billions search and participate on You Tube every day.

There is never a dumb question (well maybe a few) and you always get the answers you are looking for.

Now that I have learned what and how to do it, what's next?

It Only Takes Money and Time!

A few years ago I could have never thought of doing this RV thing. I was working in the corporate world on a job working long hours. This left me little to no time for my family.

I was a slave to that lifestyle.

It's funny how we get caught up working in a job or career that if you died tomorrow, they would replace you in less than a week.

This was how I was raised and programmed to live my life.

Today, you have many more choices if you are willing to be open to them and are willing to do the work.

Change your programming!

Wealthy Affiliates and affiliate marketing is now giving me the opportunity to live under my choices, my rules, and my ability to pursue my dreams.

As long as you have an internet connection, you can go and do what ever you want to do, when you want to do it, and how you want to do it.

This is following the dreams of many and living in a freedom you have never felt before.

I may not get rich at this adventure, but I am rich with freedom.

Wealthy affiliate offers the tools, training, knowledge, and community to help you pursue your dreams what ever they may be. And it's FREE to get started!

What To Expect Next?

Once I get settled into this life of travel, I will be busy traveling, still learning, and sharing many

of my adventures.

I will have a goal to give back and help others learn from my experiences and help them if they are seeking the freedom of travel that I will be taking upon.

I foresee:

  • Blogs, Blogs, and more Blogs (only quality content of course)
  • Maybe a video or two.
  • Pictures..
  • Updates for my followers.
  • Great information to learn by.

Oh, and having fun doing all of this.

What are your dreams?

What are you doing to pursue those dreams?

Who wants to join me?

thank you

Congratulations on getting your RV that is great news about full-time RV. That is what my husband wants is an RV but not full time living only for vacations and things of that nature. Best wishes keep me posted I am curious to know how it goes.

We have been thinking about this for a while, now trying to make it reality.

We want to get an RV ourselves for taking trips so I am praying and hoping that I can start making an income where we can afford one. Best wishes to you all and have a great time.

Best wishes for your new lifestyle.

Congrats, Dave. I know you will enjoy the fulltime lifestyle. Several years ago I bought an old motorhome with a friend, and we were on the road fulltiming for about 5 years. It was a wonderful experience, one I'd love to repeat someday.

Welcome to the club! Pam and I are in our tenth year of full time RV living. Best wishes!

I know we are really going to love it. thanks

Did you get the RV inspected by an NRVIA inspector before you bought it?

I'm in the process of doing that, I just have earnest money down right now.

Great! That will help you to know whether the vehicle is truly road ready or not and if there are things the dealer should repair/replace before you sign on the dotted line.

Let me know if you need help locating an inspector. You can PM me for assistance.

I found an inspector in the same place I am buying my rig, just a couple of roads down the road.

The inspection is scheduled for next Tuesday.

Thanks

Awesome! Keep us posted Don!

This rig is a 2007 Monaco Dynasty and is in great shape (garage kept). Paint is immaculate, inside still looks new, new tires, new batteries, recent fluid changes, and low mileage.

The NRVIA idea I got from one of your post. Thanks for the help.

Good to hear Don! The inspector will dig deeper to be sure all is as it should be. Are you having fluid analysis done on the engine oil, transmission coolants, generator, etc? Who is the inspector?

The inspection comes with 2 fluid analysis. I will probably do the engine oil and transmission. If need or recommended, I will get the radiator fluid checked. The current fluids have about 1000 miles on hem, so I should get good samples.

The generator was upgrade, so I'm not too concerned with that.

Congratulations on your new home. May you find contentment and peace as you live.
