13th? Friday? What Could Go Wrong?

Today is Friday the 13th and my 13th blog post here at WA, coincidence, I think not!

I have had a lot going on lately. My wife and I have moved into a Class A motor home and we will begin our adventure traveling across the US today.

I have not done as much on my business over the last week or so as we were transitioning into this new life style.

After today, I will settle into this new life and I will be going into overcharge on my websites and businesses.

What Is Next?

Adventure and taking lots of pictures to share with our family and friends. My next step is to buy a good camera and maybe a Go-Pro.

Go-Pro this should be very entertaining. I plan to get lots of inspiration from my travels that will profit my businesses.

Where else is a better place to get inspiration but the nature we live in. There are so many places to see and visit.

I can not wait to get started!

How Can I Do This?

Traveling and the excitement of starting an online business from the ground up!

Being an engineer, I have always loved taking an idea to a finished project.

Building an online business is very similar as this will give me or anyone else the satisfaction of building a niche website from the ground up and watching the business flourish.

Wealthy Affiliate and this great community is what is making this possible.

I can work from anywhere and anytime as long as I have an internet connect.

This online business has so many moving parts and lots to learn. It can be complex and simple.

Wealthy Affiliate University is the key to taking someone such as myself that started with zero knowledge and taking them to a level of competence and proficiency.

This is the beauty of this online and travel adventure.

Where Will We Go?

We will go where the wind blows. Your guess is as good as mine.

The travels across America will be very diverse and probably challenging.

Just as these travels, the work I do and everyone else here at WA, it is very diverse and challenging.

I now have a following from all parts of the world.

What other community provides this? None!

What I recommend!

I am too early in my traveling to recommend this as a lifestyle for everyone, but many people are actively pursuing this.

However, if you are looking to free yourself from the 9 to 5 grinds, be your own boss, and make money your way; join me here at Wealthy Affiliate.

It is the ultimate platform for your personal freedom, but provides your the training and support to be successful.

All you have to do is take the training and follow the proven processes and approaches to building a successful online business.

That sounds awesome, I would love to do some extended travel. I hope you have a great time and some wild adventures. Be safe.
Jenny

I plan to post as we go. Can't wait to see this great country from the road.

Your adventure sounds exciting, my husband and I have thought of doing this in a few years, to just sell off everything and travel where ever in a mobile home. I will keep watch of your posts, love to hear how your travels advance. Enjoy

We were able to lease our house to one of our daughters, so that made this little experiment possible.

We are close to our grand-kids so we will see how this goes.

That is the hold off for us, first we are my mom's only care givers so we can't really leave her, but secondly is the grand-kids. They are young and still like hanging with us, but the day will come when they have jobs and are off to school, so maybe then. Enjoy yourselves and I will follow and see how your experiment plays out.

13 must be your lucky number;)

I see every number as my lucky number. lol

Great post and congrats Don! Pam and I hope you have many blessed travels in your new RV home!

Our new adventure happened this week! We just moved into our new Tiffin Allegro Open Road. This is now our third full time RV home. We are on the move as we speak.

Pam is driving and I am at the computer desk in the co-pilot's seat. Life is good!

Have fun, Sir!! Hopefully, we'll see you on the road!

Congratulation on your new Tiffin. Tiffin was one of our favorite brands as we looked.

I found a 2007 Monaco DP that we are now living in for our first RV. Low investment to see if this is going to be a lifestyle we can stick with.

Thanks Howard.

That is definitely the way to go Don! So far we have bought two years used, and all of them have been like new when purchased.

Once you enjoy yours for awhile and decide the lifestyle is for you, you will know exactly what you want in the next one if you decide to go that route.

Monaco has had a good name in the industry in that model year. After 2009 things changed a bit.

Again, enjoy Don!

If you are coming through Texas, reach out to us. We are basing out of there for a bit but traveling in between business events. We are located E-SE of Dallas.

Congratulations! I did that in 2001. It is really freeing being able to go where you want, when you want. Really enjoyed it immensely. We spent a winter in Quartzite, AZ one year dry camping. There is a whole community of fulltimers who just pick a spot in the desert in BLM land and park it for several months. There is a honey wagon that comes around to empty your tanks, and a water truck that comes by to fill them! We used a portable Honda generator instead of our built in one most of the time, so that we didn't need to pull up stakes and go into town to gas up the rig. We could use a gas can to fill the Honda.

I came home about 5 years later, and when I see a big rig pulling a "toad" down the road, I have fond memories, and a bit of nostalgia for the lifestyle.

I know you and your wife are going to have a ball. There will be challenges...there's always something needing fixed on an RV that you live in fulltime, but the freedom is worth the aggravation when it does happen. ENJOY!

Here's a lucky Friday the 13th story for ya....my realtor called me this morning and told me that I received a cash offer on my house today! It has only been on the market since Wed., and I showed it for the first time yesterday! Nothing is set in stone yet because my place I'm moving into is not available until December. Gonna try to rent it back from them until my place is available.

Have a great weekend, and a great RVing LIFE!

Carol

Thanks for the encouragement. We are at our first RV park on Canyon Lake here in Texas. So far so good. Did not have sewer hookups, so we are partially dry camping I guess you could say.

We are looking forward to see where these travels take us. thanks

It's SO much fun! Would LUV to do it again!
